SE just copy FFXI in FFXIV

Lol, I also find it annoying I can not run onto the boat it's funny how such small little touches actually make that little bit of difference ^^

As I say to all the people who want FFXIV to be FFXI. Go play FFXI. I want a more unique set away from FFXI. I do not want to play Final Fantasy XI, I left it for a reason when I got this. If I wanted a clone I would just go back and play that game, its already been made and whoever wants to play it, it is there. It was a very interesting and fun game, and I personally loved FFXI. But no thank you, I highly disapprove of FFXIV ever being cloned into being a FFXI.

It says Final Fantasy XIV (14) , not Final Fantasy XI-2 (11-2). Thank you :)

That will show SE they should focus on XI if we're being told to play their other MMO instead of sticking with their new romp. People who want FFXI-2 as it's said, is more referring to the fact XIV didn't even get the basics right that XI did 8 years ago.

So it wouldn't be a clone, it would be an actual MMO by the people who already had 10 years of MMORPG experience and 2 MMOs under their belt (FMO/FFXI, FEZ/Wakfu or w/e you can consider even though it's not their product now.) They would just be taking the basics and everything XI got right and evolved from it, rather than side stepping off a cliff.

Was I referring to people who would like to just improve 14? No I was not. As I said, for everyone who wishes to play 11 or wants it to be just a clone with better graphics (Which has been said in this forum itself) then I say, go play the game that is already out. This is not their "new romp" it is just another one. FF11 is still rather strong and people who wish to have the exact same gameplay should play the game that has what they want. Instead of remaining on a game they wish to be "cloned" into another. So, as I said before, to those who want to play FF11 (not a combined mish-mash of the two) and to those who want 14 to just be 11 with a prettier package, then play FF11. It will save a lot of headaches.

And once again, the people who said and still are saying they want it to be a FFXI-2 , also mentioned that they want it to be FFXI, with just nicer graphics, those are the people I speak of. I said my peace and it is not to those who just wish for a better FFXIV, it is for those who just wish to overwrite FFXIV. Thank you. XD

Hehe to be honest, I had the same problem, I panicked when I first saw the boat and couldn't get on. Then when I suddenly zoned in (Along with all my friends who were still up at the gate, which is nice XD never just run to the boat and then barely miss it, and then want to put sugar in the ships engine >.> <.< .. which i never did.. I promise.. ahem) I was recovering from my heart attack XD. And I agree, it shouldnt be a clone, but the good system features would be nice. :)

This is what XI fans want not a direct copy, man you ppl cant read!(Seonfang) Some, very few are saying they want a copy, but for most what Jennistia has listed here is exactly what XI fans were thinking XIV would be, and thoes arent really crazy outa way demanding expectations.
Instead they ignored everything that made its original MMO so great for soooo long, and it ends up being one of the worst mmorpg's ever made.

People really just get up in arms when someone says they do want an exact copy... it seems to really grinds some peoples gears
