FFXIV on Nintendo WII U

Both the 3 cores thing and the R770 are pure rumors and speculation. Nintendo, IBM and AMD never confirmed any of these.

My guess they are probably holding off to later as for now it is still a prototype and specs could change a bit from now to when it is actually released.

any chance we can get a comment from the mods or devs?

Does the Wii:U output on par with the PS3 and 360? yes
Does the Wii:U have a new controller that sets it apart from the others? yes

Ok cool I will get it. That is more Mario/Metriod/Zelda for me, along with a whole new road of games for me to enjoy.

Could FFXIV run on Wii:U yeah sure with some adjustments.

Does it need any special touch input? no not really, make the touch pad a keyboard and your set.

Sorry, i don't feel like seeing FFXIV turn into a dumbed down Wii version...

...then again, who knows maybe they can throw cell-shading into it as well, maybe some language filtering... DLC for a Coliseum to fight against your pokemon in your other game-saves?

maybe but it's been confirmed that the Wii U's E3 showing used a lot of footage from the PS3 and 360 consoles. Essentially, Nintendo lied about the graphics in most aspects

what are you talking about, FFXIV would be on the Wii U not the Wii and the Wii U has graphics comparable to the 360 and PS3

Nintendo did not lie about anything, they said in the press release that they showed PS3 footage to show what the game will look like on the Wii U, as dev kits have just been sent out, there is no way any third party companies have any kind of demo footage yet.

No, it was confirmed that they used 360 footage and passed it off as the WiiU footage. Also, in your other post, you said that it would have graphics comparable to the PS3. This is not possible unless the give the thing 8 cores or at least 6 =)
