Remember that you can meld accuracy materia to your gear, so unless the caps in Midas Savage are really high, you should be able to meet the requirements pretty easy.

I have a question.
While fighting big enemies who turn a lot (The Aery boss, for example) what is better (or less worse)?
1) Delay ur gcd and run to hit ur skill in right position? Or...
2) Just hit skill as soon as it can be used no matter your position?
Most people don't feel like they're delaying the GCD even when they are, so by that metric, if you can notice the delay it's probably too long for the bonus to pay off.
(Monk problem: not enough punching. Monk solution: more punching.)
edit: I've done a little number crunching on monk this tier and the preliminary readouts say "uh oh". yoshi pls this is not okay ;_;
Man, that is a lot of pieces with SS. Looks like we might be getting some more use out of Purification if the fights are high up time.
We're talking BiS might be a 751 SS set, for one (maybe, I need to check materia more; nonetheless you can't lose drop it from the i245 punchers). Plus the Midas fights are looking like they're jumptastic, which might justify the skill speed, except it doesn't because Greased Lightning isn't an on/off switch and the scaling ain't that good, so the TP savings don't mean much.
In general, it's not usually a good sign when they buff a job without mentioning anything beforehand. I main DRG, that's how my 2.4 progression went....
just messing around with possible BiS, and just estimateing possible accuracy requirements, i've come up with this
http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/SPUL
this is still based on a lot of estimations so chances are its not a final BiS, but its something to look at to start with
general rule is if you have to delay for more than half a second, its not worth it, just take the hit from the position you have available
however, if you have very little skill speed, then you cant even allow for this either due to buffs/debuffs falling off, and should just hit immediately regardless
