Out of nowhere a ball of yarn rolls onto the track. Both the cat and the soon to be cat's eyes are drawn to it and an insinctive need to capture the errant ball of yarn overcomes the jousting sensibilities.

They cast away their lances and angle their trusty mounts towards the string formation that has wholy captured their senses. They lean forward and stretch out an arm towards the ball of yarn hoping to snag it first and thus claim ownership of this, the mightiest of prizes. The crowd, previously clamouring for blood, now starts cheering them on. Bets are made on the opponents and witty choruses are created and chanted throughout the audience pavillions.

The moment is tense, the ball of string only feet away, evenly distanced from the two competitors on their mounts. Only a split second would determine the fate of the yarn ball. In the end one simple shortcoming ruled the end of the match. It was peripheral vision that betrayed Keith. A slight movement caused his attention to waver from the yarn ball to rest upon the beauteus view of cleavage exposed by the motion of Rogue leaning forward. Heat flushed his face and he blinked away and in that second his mount hit a small stone and cartwheeled, flipping him head over heels.

Rogue snatched up the ball of yarn and held it aloft as her mount slowy poddled to the other end of the arena. The crowds cheered, clapped and chanted her name. And poor Keith lay there in the dust battered and bruised and defeated. His mount, now upright wheeled over and gently nudged his cheek in apology. Keith rose, and gave it a light reasuuring pat and then turned to gaze upon the receeding figure of Rogue knowing that one glimpse of such radiant glory would forever haunt his dreams.

/end short story.

P.S. Bonus points to whoever gets the ancient 1.0 reference

I would take a member of the audience and place them behind a curtain made of yarn...give it a few waves ....and then behold as they reappear as Carbuncle versions of themselves. Well, lets just say I have - resistance to cleavage.

Twas in XI, in the middle of a pants off dance off, I was close to winning the grand prize gil and then my opponent decided to put on the most revealing top causing my dance macro to fail as I was stunned by the Mithran cleavage. Needless to say I did not win the gil and my glory as the best pantless dancer was forever lost to me. *cries moar*

I've been doing a bunch of research on how to make digital drawings and finally decided to download the trial version of Photoshop to give it a try. Here's my very first digital drawing after watching and following a bunch of tutorials! :p

I had no idea Kirby would be that difficult to draw using a mouse. My hand is like strained now and I have a much better understanding of why tablets are so popular. Sorry its not FFXIV related, I need much more practice before I can even attempt to draw my character!

You might want to try using the pen/vector tools for the lines instead. Mouse is way too hard to control for lines imho.

Thanks! I'll look up some info on how to use that. Yeah the mouse was pretty difficult for lines, or even smooth curves

Thanks Niqote :) Ya it took a while to clean up all the messy lines, got pretty tired by the end. How do you get all your lines into a smooth line/curve in all your art? It is by using the pen/vector tool that Soukyuu suggested?
