Hello! I have been away from the game for a while and i just restated. I want to try and get a character on Balmung or Gilgamesh where it seem the RP people hang out if I can. I originally rolled on Siren.
I am looking at a Miqo'te for obvious reasons. I think I will start as a pugilist so that it could lead into monk, ninja or bard.

I really liked the third one the best, but I'm all for pink hair so I'm a bit bias. All of em look so pretty though. <3 But if you're set on face, eyes, nose, skin tone and lips, your hair you can keep changing on the aesthetician till you find a color that suits you best.

Yes once you unlock the Aesthitician guy in Limsa at level 15 go to any inn and use the crystal summoning bell to summon him and you can change your hair style, color, and few other facial options.

I change my hair fairly often.

yup, once you unlock the asthetication, from the lvl 15 quest which you can get from the female miqo'te npc in limsa, nearby the guild leve booth, you'll be able to change to any of the other hairstyles you have unlocked & whatever makeup options it gives you.

@Greyfurr and Alwaysguilty - Oh really? ;) Both of you have Gilgamesh alts ( I think) There are so many of us that will love to give away our hugs, Join us! I'm first in line though.

@Highmarshal I liked the miqo'te with the purple hair.. I'm a little biased though. :o I hope you can make it on Gilgamesh as well. Or Balmung and Yes, Siena changes her hairstyle almost every other week. Come to think of it.. I think that might be one of my top three favorite features of the game.

First time being a sun cat I think she turned out pretty cute, even though the hair is super basic and unoriginal.

Noop, I tried, but then gave up unfortunately. I totally forgot about it though, I'll give it a shot when I get up. I want those hugs lol.

I tried to make an Alt on both Gilgamesh and Balmug, but they were full. So no hugs for me... :(. It's okay, I like being on Midgardsormr.

I'll give a hug for every alt/transfer I see to Gilgamesh on this thread with Siena. Hug race hug hype.

The Key for Gilgamesh is it opens SUPER early in the morning. from 5am central, which would be 3am Pst. but yes I would try around that time. Gold spammers are sneaking in and we get a tell once or twice a night or every other night. So I know its opening up haha its just super early ;]

I have a level 40 lala on that server! but yeah Up above for Gilga. i'm not sure for Balmung.. Only way I got on that one was when the servers were coming back up from maintenance. Its a very small window.

I managed to get a character on Gilgamesh, I doubt I will bother trying to find that magic minute Balmung is open for a while at least. I may like Gilgamesh anyways.

I got on to Balmung right after the last maintenance, so if someone wants to make a character there waiting until the servers come up after maintenance or a patch might do the trick.
