Ideally this whole topic needs to sit in the GAMEPLAY > "OTHER" section of the forum, no?

Some obscure request, in an unveiwed section that no one currently cares about.
So, would anyone post in, or care about it???

Since Cairdeas mentioned it and I was bored and had time to do so I made a list. These are the people who specifically said or implied that they would like the missing genders in game either as NPC or playable, (but most people want them as playable). I left out names of people who didn't place an opinion one way or the other. Not all of these people would like to see all 3 (male miqo'te, female highlander, and female roegadyn) added. Some only want one or two of the 3, but most people said they want/would be ok with all 3. This is just for my own curiosity and those who are interested. I didn't bother counting as I have nothing to prove. I'm not going to lie and say that I know there are more people who want these added than who don't. In this thread that seems to be true. Again, this was out of curiosity.

Kam, this thread does belong in General discussion currently because no, This does not fit in any other section provided by SE then this section. If they produce a section this fits into more properly I will ask to have it moved. If you are concerned its in the wrong section go ahead and report the first post by clicking the report icon. If you do and a Forum Moderator agrees with your assessments they will obviously move the thread.

Or it could just be that the moderators only move/delete threads that are not in the right section. I know this threads been reported, and I know people have vandalized the tag cloud. But obviously the Moderators have decided it can stay where it is.

If anything it belongs here, it is the "General Discussion" forum, which is what this is, a general discussion about adding the missing genders, im sorry if you dont want to see it, but give it time and itll die out eventually along with every other post in these forums, but until it does you'll just have to put up with it :P

Character Customizations and Graphical issues are not part of gameplay, gameplay revolves around systems in the game that players interact with. Again, if a mod feels this belongs in a different section they will move it. As they haven't we can only determine they believe it fits here.

Do you consider running around on your character as gameplay?

Is it not the fundamental start, and the whole revolving cause of gameplay based around your character?

I don't understand why you're so upset over this being a general topic, it's not like adding these genders will degrade or enhance the way that people play.
If you're SO concerned that a VISUAL aspect of the game is being suggested in this forum, then the "Jumping" thread, which has the most replies of General Discussion, must really infuriate you.
Also, this thread is the 4th most replied subject in GD, so any hope of the Devs not seeing this is mute.
Even if moved, this thread will still have it's post count, and would be the first thing anyone sees when they enter Other> Gameplay.
Also, you mentioned that this thread has 12k views and only 500 posts....but the most popular thread here has close to double the views, and only 363 more posts than this one as it stands now....and it's about jumping.
Not everyone wants that feature, probably only about 30% of those posts are for it, yet it's coming to us.
You have a right to your opinion, but this isn't going to break the game, or even hurt it, if anything it will make some people even re-roll.

I honestly don't want to see this thread die until it can be laid to rest when the missing race/gender combos have been added. At that point I think we can put a big old lock on it and let it fall into the forum history. Until then, plan on seeing it often.

If we had to re-roll in order to change our race, I'd be a little wary of doing so. I'm not sure how easy that kind of a choice would be for me, I'd definitely have to look through all the customization options first. Honestly even if it was a $/Crysta thing, I'd pay for it to change once. Preferably though I'd want them to give anyone with a currently active account 1 free switch.

I myself would be willing to start over from scratch. Though I know most would prefer the 1 free switch for a limited time option.

Well if the options for customization of the male miqo'te were sufficient, I'd consider restarting. I mean at least I'd be able to keep most of my items via trading so it's not a complete loss. Plus these days 1-30 is pretty snappy, so I'd mostly be missing out on my Pug ranks.

Fieros this thread is older then that subtopic. As a mod has yet to move this thread after I know more then one person has reported it for being in the wrong place, we can determine they probably think its fine where it is. But if you wish go ahead and report the main post again.

As is if you don't like it do not post in it.
