OK it's now showing all available servers for me to transfer to (legacy AND non-legacy, even though I can't transfer to non-legacy). This means that the server I want, Excalibur, isn't on the list until it's no longer restricted, I guess.

Still waiting to be able to transfer to Excal as well, when it's available and unrestricted, hoping before end of free transfer time.

Guys, you can only transfer to servers that do not have character-restriction imposed on them. Behemoth/Hyperion has been restricted for a long time now, and I suspect will still be restricted even when the free transfers end. Once that ends, it'll be 20 bucks for paid transfer. Also, once you've transferred there's a 3-day cooling off period where you can't perform any more transfers till this is over.

I say they should IGNORE character creation restrictions when doing world transfers. People know congested servers are more likely to have queues, and if people on a congested server don't want queues, they can transfer to an uncongested server. I don't care to sit in a queue for an hour as long as I get to play with my brother and my RL friends.

Wow, still problematic? That sucks. Luckly I was able to fix this earlier. I know the rage of this... It was annoying, but in the end worth it :)))

But I was actually expecting this.. I have seen so many NA/EU players on the JP servers while I played and I am pretty certain alot of them was not planning to stick there. Japan lag was horrible. Felt like an entire new game on the EU server I joined. The latency is way better. Now it actually matters if I try to avoid red :)

Balmung is available to transfer to, and it is listed as unavailable for creation on the status page.

I at first got the whole list of worlds to transfer to, but the problem was the characters that were on a different world couldn't be selected, so I was like D : but now I only have Typhon popping up. This is getting frustrating -3-'

FYI guys you need to choose the server then click the botton on the right side to lock in your choice then your able to choose your character server at the bottom....

You think we don't know that? Some of us get the option of the server we want, and then it says "no characters available to transfer" when clearly there are. Or some of us, which is happening to me now, get just one random world in the drop down box. We aren't retarded : (

i'm glad I am a legacy player stuck on a legacy jp server and cant move to a na legacy server since that is all I can do, due to all legacy servers being full. thanks se

I have read through most of these replies while stuck at work. Before coming in, I spammed F5 for 1.5 hours trying to transfer and always getting stuck because it couldn't find my character. I have read about 4 instances now where people using samsung phones have gotten it to work. I just tried with my Galaxy S3 and after just refreshing one time, it finally found my character. Transferred from Siren to Gilgamesh, went through the entire process with no more errors, immediately got the email telling me it had started transferring. Twenty seconds later, I got the completion email. My advice is to find someone with a samsung phone and give it a shot! It's worked for 5 of us in this thread.

Great. FML now it's working for me, but now I can't select Ultros. :'(
The worse part is, I can honestly transfer to any server. Even the restricted ones. But no Ultros. I think SE is just trolling me.

Yep. It's why most people who played from ARR only were able to get a lot of Tier IV materia off the bat (on legacy worlds.)

Update:

I managed to get it to work. I did 2 things, either might have helped.

I made sure I didn't have any gil left on either retainer, which 1 had some.

2: After Destination world only gave me 1 choice, and no choices for my current world. I Cleared my browser's cache out. Cookies, browsing info, etc. Then tried again. Worked flawlessly, waiting for email that confirms that transfer is complete.

I recommend trying a browser cache clear.

Its been 2 hours since my brother submitted an application from Cactuar to Sargatanas, I still haven't recived the 2nd email. Is anyone alse waiting for the 2nd email? My other friends transferred within 10 mins from cactuar to sargatanas

Yeah, it seems like server transfers are really stable now, I just need to wait for Hyperion to open up..... and so are hundreds, maybe thousands of other NA players too, lol.

I want the gate to Behemoth server to open. OPEN IT SE!!!!! :mad::mad: You forced me to go on this server, and now I have to pay extra if there's a chance of you never opening the transfer to crowded servers. You just wanna suck my money dry don't cha.

Yes, ive been waiting for over 5 hours now, still no confirmation email, that worries me since my friends transferred from same server as me and for them it took 15mins.

Mine seems to have worked fine now,went to tonberry from Behemoth and better pings woot. Also seems friendlier too.
