Unacceptable Lag / ISP Throttle (Petition)

Well, hooked the PS3 straight into the modem, still unplayable latency and lag in FATEs. The servers and me are still several seconds apart on what is actually happening and what I see on the screen. My ISP is not throttling my connection and everything was green on their end. Fix this shit, SE.

Almost totally unplayable still, and i must repeat that i have absolutely no problems with my connection. I watch many HD channels through iPTV that use 8-12 MB/s of bandwidth and they are working just fine, as is everything else. Except FFXIV.
My problems started about a week ago, before that i had no problems with lag.

My friends had been talking about this issue for roughly a week and half when it suddenly just vanished for all of them. I was completely fine the entire time they were having the issue, but that of course didn't last long.

As of two nights ago I've begun to have 8 to 10 second spurts of lag when doing any dungeon. These never appear in the World, just when I'm connected to the dungeon server(s). Doing a ping command shows everything is fine, restarting my modem does nothing, and although my ISP (Rogers Cable) is known to throttle P2P, this hasn't been an issue until now.

Still having the same bad lag spikes that I posted about a couple weeks ago at least. Just tried to help some FC m8s with Titan and was ok for awhile but then the lag came on hot and heavy and I got landslided off despite being like 10 steps and ~2 seconds out of the area. I seriously doubt I'll be purchasing a subscription if the issue isn't addressed before my trial period ends (in 9 days).

I hear ya Poki. I'm in the same city, same cox and had no problems until a week or two ago. Been playing online games from the same home, same internet since diablo 2 first came out and this is the first time I know it isn't my equipment because I've been through it enough the last 12 years lol. Oh well, just have to wait it out, allready paid my 90 days /sob

For anyone else using WiFi... try connecting using the physical ethernet cable and see if the problem goes away.

what if i am wired into the wireless router and it drops the wifi when i play. I can play the game just fine wired, but any wireless devices lose connection and internet access while i play wired.

I am with eircom in Ireland and got lag recently and tonight many disconnections error 90000.

I get dced all the time in Instances, especially right after cutscenes. I have Comcast, using it wirelessly and this became a major problem Thursday September 26, 2013. I don't know if its the Server's or Comcast, but can someone please do something about it! It looks to me I'm only one of the many Comcast customers that are having issues! I'm located in Colorado USA.

The lag spike strike like an ninja, every time i login i will DF or do something to ensure im running the game smooth before look for parties to do anything. But the lag doesnt disappoint me :) it always strike when you doing something important. Was running a pre-made Titan party earlier today, we doing smooth and nice at the beginning and soon among eight, two of us was (90k + 3102, ya it seems these errors is happen like a hypermarket promotion!) after re-log we face horrible lag spike from moment to moment which is annoying -____- , we died to stacked plume on bomb/prison rotation .. i almost punch my monitor because of that XD, anyway please fix the issue :p im getting lazier and lazier to doing things naw
