Too bad SE invite people that won't play the game and only applied to alpha because it's free and don't look at the legacy members.

And in meanwhile MY UNCLE (that played the free months), called me from saying: Oh i got the alpha invitation, now what i have to do? I have to click on the alpha forum link? How can i download the client..? Etc,

SE didn't force your uncle or your friends to apply for alpha.

SE doesn't know your uncle and friends did it for the lols.

SE aren't mind-readers.

The inactive part may be a bug/glitch as I've heard of one friend who gets rejected from the application, and we have someone a few pages back who also had the same experience. I'm not defending anything of SE's - NDA may be black and white, but opinions are at least fifty shades of grey.
