Ummm... I play a female miqo'te because there isn't a male. Which is why I'm excited for 2.0 so I can strut my girly boy butt.

(Girl gamer here) I've played a male character only once in an MMO. His name was Big Al and he was a very very big and fat character made specifically to sit on my friends when they AFK too long making me wait. :3

I don't really get the big hate towards guys who play as girls (or the other way around, but I never see that happen ever). Maybe they are just jealous that they aren't secure about themselves enough to play what they wanted so they harass others who do. Idk, that's just my guess lol.

I actually don't mind people who think this because they are usually the ones who are first to hit on you. ^^;

I thought hard about which sex to roll. I was contemplating a female lala, but decided against it. In XI me and my gf were unable to get married because I was a female taru and she was a mithra, and SE didn't (doesn't?) allow same-sex marriage (SHAME ON YOU SE!)

Though, if Viera come out in ARR... It's going to be tough not to roll a female one of those.

-Phantasy Star MMO

One of the things I'm hoping for is being able to play a male Viera; my best friend (girl) wants to go for a Maleqo'te. We will probably hit on each other
