story maybe but fight wise for normal content (and even savage) Endwalker raids where a snoozefest

Who the hell cares about raid series story?
if the fights are good the story doesnt really matter to me personally
story always matters.
Would I be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed in the story? Yes. Am I mad with how things turned out in the end? Not exactly. Knowing that it's all meant to be a WWE-esque narrative for entertainment purposes and how committed the president was to that bit makes me go "eh. whatever, it was a fun story at least". But I enjoyed the stakes it initially had with the psychonecrosis (supposedly) killing fighters and the dystopian feel it added to the city (which Solution Nine/Alexandria should have had much more of to begin with IMO). Removing the teeth of that was a bit of a let down.
I'm ambivalent to Lindwurm but "Everything Burns" is by far my favorite raid music to date, and I wish it played during Tyrant's fight too because my god his theme is shockingly dull (which amazes me because this whole raid series has had some great bangers but then they fumbled with the BEHEMOTH???).
I was hoping to get a "zombie" Brute Bomber fight this last tier but since they gutted the stakes of course it didn't happen. As cheap as I thought it was that they suddenly made him all better, I did smile when he showed up and I was happy that he's okay, I did like his character a lot.
Overall I think this is my favorite raid series, I thought the theme was fun, the lore was neat (less so when they made the circumstances less deadly though), and I appreciated the simplicity of it.
The Arcadion characters are getting a series of short stories for this year's Rising. Yoshi-P said so in a Q&A response asking for the remaining fighters' real names, saying just to wait for those as most are included along with more background on them all.
So, we have that to look forward to.
Honestly the love around Dancing Green is pretty crazy. He had like 12 separate cosplayers at the NA Fanfest, an entire game themed around him, and the devs liked using him in their presentations.
I still wonder if he's coming along for something in Evercold.
Imagine if the the only required raids in FFXIV are Crystal Tower, establishing G'raha Tia, the Allagan Empire, the Void, Amon, and more, setting up massive story beats for future expansions, and the WWE inspired series because everyone wanted to keep seeing the smoking hot party rabbit guy that's really into frogs and disco.
