People like you want to make this game out to be like the ONLY thing that a person should play and that it should offer 24/7 experiences at levels that meet your expectations. other games don't exist to you. THIS IS NOT THAT GAME, NOR SHOULD IT BE. Nor should ANY game be like that.

"Regularly?"

You mean once. Because one of the largest MMO's in the world flopped and people wanted a new home, right when a new expansion launched. And the main reason the hardware couldn't handle it was because they couldn't obtain upgrades, so they had to work with what they had.

It would be massive mistake for FF14 to assume they're doing everything right just because they're having some success, because that's exactly what WoW did before it crashed.

There will be no "insane" queues this coming patch. The hype has dropped. Feel free to quote me later if we do get massive queues in 6.1 and I'll happily admit I was wrong.

Because thats the kind of SMN that would waste a GCD on a 200 health heal when they could be doing around 20,000 damage with their spells. I don't think it can even save a tank from an auto attack at this point. But instead of contributing to killing the boss quicker so the party doesn't wipe to a damage check or have to see additional mechanics that could wipe the party they have decided to waste their GCD on something worthless prolonging the encounter instead of adding value.

For a SMN heal to barely save a fight it would mean that the fight would be easily winnable if the SMN actually damaged the boss and killed it faster.

There is such a thing as opportunity cost and efficiency. A RDM heal and a PLD clemency may be a different argument because even though it is preferable for them to DPS there are some scenarios where they can sustain party members long enough to win an encounter. A SMN heal is so inefficient it has no such capability.

Okay sure, somehow asking for more challenging content and asking for them to not simplify jobs is wanting to turn the game into 24/7 experiences.

Again, the people here are merely offering feedback for the devs, as per what they have told us to use these forums for. Hence why this thread was made. No one needs you, or anyone else to tell them to move on. You can move on from the thread if people giving actual criticism bothers you. But the amount of people trying to shut down feedback in these threads is ridiculous. There’s literally 0 reason to argue. People drop their suggestions and feedback here for the devs to see. People can come in and express their opinions on that subject, but trying to shut down discussions with “just unsub, go play another game, i don’t like that you don’t like this part of the game,” is beyond childish and against the point of these forums.
