Korean Exclusive Dress from 2017... when?

This set of outfits was released in China in 2019 for a limited time (Event apparently). Now is being re-released currently(2023). Originally for the Korean version. Why haven't we gotten it?

Are they kidding me right now…….China can get it twice but we can’t? How do they even defend this anymore given their lousy defence so far was “exclusivity”?

Yep, so far Korean servers have 2 exclusive minions. China has an exclusive mount. The minions for the Korean servers are the Ghost (Tonberry) and the Green Naver (Korean Search Engine) ones and the Chinese Servers have the reskinned Behemoth. Which I've just basically given up on...but I feel if the Korean and Chinese servers have these outfits...we should be granted the same? Why are only these outfits being held back?

I'm pretty sure they are in the game files, I have seen modders swap another dress for this one. I have always wanted them to release it here I just love its looks. There's no reason to have mogstation items region locked.

Ehhh, I can understand the Naver minion, Naver isn't our search engine here. It'd be like having a Google minion in the global version, it'd be weird. The other two, I wouldn't mind.

I mean, if whoever made the items isn't a part of SE and have their own terms for distribution, they kinda can't do much about that. It might have been set to only be distributed to Korea and China. I've seen random comments upon doing research that the dress specifically might not have been modelled by Square themselves. I'm not sure about the minion though.

I would say that is the case. Both the Chinese and Korean versions of the game are published by different companies, and not by SE. As well as their cash shops, so I woukd imagine there is something in the contracts that keep some items exclusive to those two regions.
