I think the problem is the devs are reading the forums and might just think it is what everyone wants. :s

you are merly feeding the trolls at this point. I made my point long ago. and how many times do i have to say it. this is the last time im going to say it. if you cannot block a high lvl NM because they have less chance of you blocking, then what good is your STUPID damage mitigation.

and as for you I wish you had given up posting like 4 months ago and never posted at all. your posts are noobish. you speak without thinking.

the new shield skills are just that...new...no one knows how they will work yet. and I am speaking in terms of overall blocking. You gonna use Aegis boon to tank 30+ mobs in an SH run? yah..GL with that. You need high block rate for endgame and for multi mob tanking.

I have said it in a previous post and I'll say it again here. People were stupid and thought Auto Block was a buff. The few people that did infact realize it was a huge nerf got flamed for saying it was a nerf. Same thing is happening here.

I said perviously I will not feed the trolls and repeat what I have already said about dmg mitigation vs blocking. End.

Ah. A somewhat cohesive post, albeit tarnished by a misplaced finale.

I can understand higher block rate being desirable, perhaps, for high mob concentration scenarios such as a stronghold. As for for effectiveness of Outmaneuver after 1.20 requiring some testing, I agree. I'll be doing that exact test as soon as I log in after maintenance.

However, given your ability to see reason, you can understand the superiority of a larger shield with higher mitigation for tanking a single, powerful opponent, no?

... or we can simply agree to disagree on the basis that there is still testing to be done after 1.20.

Regardless, if you're referring to me as a troll I highly suggest you learn what a troll actually refers to. I have trolled threads on this forum. I still do, based on the thread, the OP, and the direction it's headed in. This thread however, I did not troll.

a glimmer of hope...a high block rate shield...yes...SE is actually going to do something right for once....i reach for it....but wait...it moves further away...i reach for it again...it moves again....i cant reach it...it is out of my grasp.

btw, the [item=4100202]Vintage Kite Shield[/item] has a Block value of 120, and a Block Rate of 92. Not the other way around. Learn to read.

Non-melded wise it is. Plain as that. I'm not melding til after the update.

oh my bad i forgot to add the +1 in there...cause that is what i have a +1 vintage kite shield with +20 def melded to it. and also my bad on reversing the blocked/vs block rate :P
