Except the loot system in the 24-mans is designed around being able to run it again.

There's only about half the loot available in the 24-mans as there is in the 8-mans. No accessories or weapons. So half the amount of loot, half the number of chests.

Last time I checked, 24 man raids dropped 3 chests per boss, so 12 in total. Not sure where you're getting the one chest per group a run info from, unless they're changing how Void Ark works which I have not heard anything about.

One chest is for each alliance so one chest to roll on every boss which made wod pretty annoying toget gear and I have fc mates never got their pieces ever by the end of arr.

Id have to agree with this as it stands now i hate wod it took me 75 runs to get my healer top :P and i wanted the puff pet but yeaaaaa id rather dream

Tbh I really really wish se would stop pairing BLM gear and smn gear up for these type of dungeons cause its not always what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Meaning its not always what's good for BLM is gonna be good for smn. So please se separate the caster gear in these types of dungeons I'm begging you. Oh and I have cookies for you if you do so :).

They look alright to me, I just wish thigh-high foot gear would go the way of the cape in this game since it doesn't make for an interesting silhouette.

24 player raids dropping 3 items for the 24 players present is a crap ratio. That's 1 item per full party vs 2. B. S.

If you count all 24 players and not only the 8 in the same group, then it is 9 items

Okay then.

One piece of gear for 8 people per boss.

Crap ratio.

It should have gone the same way 3 items for 40 did in WoW. And that was if you were lucky. Most bosses dropped one, maybe 2 in the beginning. You know where that way went? RL Dodos and dinosaurs went that same way.

Both your and Felis' math is slightly off.

There are 4 bosses in the 24 mans and each drops a chest for each party for a total of 12 equipment drops per run. Gobdips, Gobcoat and Gobtwine will also be in the chests (with alternative lock outs) so depending on which chests give out which tokens and how many of each are given out the total number of rewards per run could easily be 18 to 30.
