Things that make you cringe?

Only one thing in this game makes me cringe.

People that join a party, a group of strangers they have never met and decide to introduce themselves in the following ways:

MEOWDY N'YALL! :3

or

HELLO EVERN'YAN!

My mind immediately goes back to the Anime Club in Highschool and they aren't pleasant memories.

I'm gonna throw out a controversial opinion as well...

All of the maid/butler outfit reapers. You are not original.

Except for the one who wore the maid dress with the odyn helmet. That was a look.

I don't know where it comes from, but I have seen a lot of female reapers wearing such things myself. Maybe they're substituting the weapon for a broom? I don't watch anime, but I just know it's from something.

That would be cringe to me. Modern-day attire is automatically, personally cringeworthy. It would also disrupt the aesthetic of the subligar and harness, but this is beside the point.

It is actually interesting to see a wrinkled Lalafell. In lore, Lalafell stays youthful even if they grow old, and they has the same 100-year life span of Hyur race. The only two Lalafell that have wrinkled in the entire game is Tataru (temporary) and the professor who gives you Studium quest for Blacksmith/Goldsmith/Armorer



For Lalafell to grow wrinkle, I think they must be very old and near the end of the life span. The aging box that Tataru opened is based on the Japanese tale of undersea Dragon's Palace where a turtle-saving fisherman stayed 3 days and came back seeing 300 years on the surface had pass. He opened the box and was given back the time he lost on the surface, growing old and wrinkled.

People that talk about sex way too often. It happens mostly online though I personally know a handful of people that are just like that IRL and even though I play games or go to parties with them, I never managed to have an actual conversation with them.

I mean, I get it, we all got our fetishes, sex is great and it's part of being human and stuff but god damn, there's only so much sexual innuendos, jokes and randomly coming up with the topic that I can withstand before the conversations starts getting really awkward for me. I thought I escaped that when I left Moonguard in WoW, but nope FFXIV players are just the same. I guess MMO players are just horny 24/7
