i gave plenty of good reasons in my post above, biggest one is simple. running isn't gonna happen for everyone, it will be someone only the cheap and the poor will need to go threw. and the people who enjoy waisting there time running. picking out the best times to use it is already what i do,i already try running to some places, the anima still ain't enough. yeah i got like 50anima right now, but i'm 50 almost everything. on days i do have things to do i use up a good 10-40anima easily. and these are all ports for places that take 20mins to run to not the 5minute places.

ffxi had lots and lots of running, i ran alot, i chocobo alooot, and i mean alot, but it wasn't half as bad as this games system. like i said 5mins tops should be the running distance. ffxi was centered, u can port freely to the middle of every major zone and then u choco or run 5mins in any direction to get places. u didn't run from city all way to bloodcamp or iron lake, doing that is just retarted. i save my leves and do them all one day just to save the 1 cost to go back to the same spot. this is not a system that gives options or flexabilty. fact from what i'm seeing most other games simply fly to every zone or u click right on the frigin map an your there. content = time ...not running. i can't even understand it at all, i get the enjoyment of runnin and getting away from mobs and things is fun, it was in ffxi but this game is an extreme. and all it feels like is punishment.

and yeah se not answering cause they think probably there other types of transports will fix the problem, so lets hope it does.

you know thats what i thought

the more time you play, the more time you have to run and save anima
the less time you have to play, the more anima should be regenerating in between each session anyway

are the laws of physics somehow completely wrong? lol

Not going to change? Is that why in almost every single patch they've reduced anima further and further? I'm so glad you guys are convinced of this simply because you love to run. None of you who disagree have answered my question as to whether you'd rather run to Ul'dah from Gridania or teleport. Why, I really don't know. >.>;

yes because that is all punishment for the player with lots of time, that is bs. lets make him run to slow him down while others get there without the running? how is that fitting and besides that every player i know is low anima for most part even casual players. 1 day of griding with multiple parties and maybe a few quests and u already eat threw a good chunk of your anima, in ffxi all u do is shout 20times and u was there. hell u can accidently die in ffxi running, was great having to pay attention to mobs. but quess what, again u get to just port back to the spot again. i've died by mistake once on way to fish spot and i had to use another 6anima and run another 5mins to camp. lol yeah don't die, but anima is that retarted to hold on to.

Actually i fall into the crowd who does not have a lot of time to play and i always have anima.....You keep saying running when we are getting airships and choco's......

do you know whats happened every patch? nothing

they reduced it twice so far

the first time it was a reduced cost around the board. it was pretty bad at launch
the second time, they permanently put the city teleports at half cost and introduced favorites

thats twice, thats not "every patch"
