I honestly didn't know how to use /focustarget until I was helping tank Ultima HM.... on my 3rd combat lvl 50. >.<

I learned my BLM rotation during Garuda HM trying for my relic...

Just realized that the Astrolabe is the world with the moon (Menphina) and her hound, Dalamud, orbiting it.

Didn't realise 'Heavy Thrust' gave a 15% damage increase buff until I was around level 35.

And ofcourse I wouldn't read this until I hit 50 on my weaver ..

i didnt know that increasing quality means getting more exp from craft til i hit lv25 in my 1st DOH which was LTW

Just found out yesterday that you can backup your FFXIV settings from the Launcher.

Config > Backup

No more backing up those config files manually. Thank The Twelve....

I used to think foe requiem reduced my damage....( like the previously learned mages ballad )

didn't know about focus target till Turn 5.

didn't know about sort party feature till Turn 6.

for a bit i was buying everything with tons of STR but im a paladin and realised its a VIT character

Friend noticed it first but..
Never realized until now that monk stances has same animations as Ifrit , Garuda and Titan D:

Fists of Fire = Ifrit's eruption animation
Fists of Wind = When Garuda summon's sisters (She goes and spins around)
Fists of Earth = When Titan does Geo Crush
