For some reason, no matter how much I fiddle with the MXAO setting on Stormshade it never looks good(also when I'm in the configuration mode of reshade, the shading from MXAO becomes lighter than it is in the game). Also, even with the shading set to the highest resolution and the most shading steps, I get blocky shadows.

Maybe I'm just missing something.

All I can really suggest is to keep at it. Took me awhile to find a setting that looks good and even then I occasionally have to tweak it. But it's worth it. There's a few guides on reddit that might be able to help

It's pretty good. I don't even turn on reshade now(though more HBAO would be nice, just without the massive fps loss).
