Gahd! I wish I had enough gil to purchase that Eikon stuff. x.x I am barely at 2.5 mil and everything is 4 mil plus on my server. (Chest piece 8 to 11 mil last I checked. XD) Well looks like ima just have to wait for weekly caps for a bit. lel Still smexy numbers thur!
Must be nice. Meanwhile on my server every material for any piece of Eikon set goes for a million or more and the actual gear pieces range from 6 million to 10 million. So I probably won't be able to get it unless I join a Diadem group and farm and sell off Tier 5 materia. Or just not bother.
Ive mostly out fitted myself in eikon gear by day two.
Ill buy the primal pants on Tuesday and ill be sitting at around 930 something.
Two eikon pieces should tip the scales easily.
guys, whats the actually secondary stat priority? sps>crit>det?
This is interesting, I'll have to look into that further down the road when I gear up and wanna get my final melds rolling.
On a related note, at around 285 Piety, which is about base Piety + SCH/AST party buff + roughly 15 Piety depending on race, you can always do T1 after a B3, even with a low 10,000~ MP rotation (IE when you do a B4 > F3 and don't get a tick in between). For now I'm gonna pop some Piety Vs in my weapon, I can live without 24 CHR in exchange for a guaranteed decent UI phase.
Round up the mats (you can buy many with esoterics), figure out what crafter you need to do each step, and then recruit with PF or shouts. If you want it done without research or preparation on your part, expect to pay quite a bit more.
-Know what you're asking for; if you need a 3 star specialist in BSM/ARM, then make it clear that's what you need
-Don't expect HQ unless you give HQ materials
-Crafting food is required to make them, so offer a reasonable price for the service
-Don't throw and clutter of items at them and expect them to sort it out. Start with something like "first I need 8 Eikon leather, here's the ingredients for them."
