A question about pre orders.


I ordered the digital CE off of Amazon, but there is no indication of early access codes or anything like that on the page or with my receipt. I even emailed for help and the very helpful fellow from Amazon said they have no information about early access.


Should I just cancel my order and get the digital CE elsewhere?

Don't think Amazon sends out codes until about a week before early access. SE may not have given Amazon the codes yet either. Could shoot SE an email or ask them in chat when they give codes to retailers.

I ordered my physical Standard-Edition(!) off of Amazon DE and they sent me a code a few days after my order '-'
Guessing it is different with Amazon US then... Amazon DE even has a page regarding all the pre-ordering stuff.
There is no digital CE on the german Amazon though.

After month of trying finally I cleared T12 and I dropped a tank helm destined to take dust in the inventary.
And after years of no trying ( XD ) i completed ifrit extreme. Ok maybe it isn't a so great deed but I managed to remain alive playing as dragoon in my first, blind, run. XD

I’m thinking about changing my forum signature with a new image. In it i want to include both my White Mage and my Paladin (in their current Serpent Elite gear), which will be standing back to back with the Black Shroud on the background and the Gridanian Twin Adder symbol in the corner.

But, i’m not a real artist and i’m really bad at cleaning up images like the frame i’ve used at the foreground. Does anyone have a better version of a frame with a transparent background so that i can create something like this? Or have a better way to cut out the background from something like the Quest Journal from a screenshot?

I just realized something. The people who post here the most are all the part of the same FC. Haha

I just noticed your question about the pre-order code. I personally Pre-ordered my digital CE version from the official SE Store and got my pre-order code about an hour later. However, the mail containing the pre-order code was located in my spam mail box. You should check there, just to be sure.

Otherwise, I'm not very familiar with pre-ordering through Amazon.

Pre 3.0 Heavensward “To-Do” List

Achievement Goals:

Complete Paladin Tank achievements and get Lion Mount
Collect all 6 Primal Ponies and get Kirin Mount
Complete 100 GATES
Complete “Where the Wind Blows” 10 times
Win 300 Roulette Matches and get Vaan Card
Complete FCOB 10 times
Finish the last big of fishing in Black Shroud for the Fishing Luminary Tool
Obtain a DoL Lucis Tool
Obtain a DoH Lucis Tool
Obtain High Grade material through transmutation
Complete 120 Culinarian Recipes
Complete 500 Grand Company Leves for each faction (1,440/1,500)


Non Achievement Goals:

Get Chocobo to lvl 20 and get all bardings
Complete 2nd Relic Weapon (Excalibur) to Zeta
Collect enough Atma to get all remaining relics Atma’d

A lot of the remaining achievements I have are long term ones, like HQ Crafting/Gathering, gil from leves, FATES, hunt kills etc. I figure a lot of these thigns I will accomplish as part of leveling in 3.0, so I am not pushing through them. I think about 1/3 of what I have left is PVP, plus there are ones based on luck, like Gold Saucer which I can't do much about.

There are too many things i CAN do and there are quite a few things that aren’t worth to do anymore.

For instance, i can work on another Zeta, but since we’re going to get a new “Relic” in Heavensward, so it’s not worth it for me to start a new Relic (for instance the Thyrus or Artemis Bow) and just use the Augmented Ironworks instead.

We have about 1 ½ month before Heavensward is released, so i made a short list of things i want to get done before i can log into Heavensward:

• Clear Turn 13. We’re currently at the beginning of the last phase, but we aren’t getting to that phase consistently, so we’re trying to come up with other strategies to get there more consistently. I just want to get the clear. I don’t care much about the loot it drops anymore, since Heavensward is around the corner.
• Finish the Moogle Delivery quests. I think i still have 10 quests to go
• Get a Summer Pareo & Coronal Bikini through desynthesis (because the ones on the Market boards are either too expensive or sold out. (^_^; ) ) The biggest problem is, that even with the Melded Forager’s Gear, my stats are still too low to catch that fish. I will need to upgrade my Fishing Rod, since i’m still using the original iLevel 50 one. That alone will be a time consuming objective. (^_^; )
• Gear up my White Mage and Bard with Augmented Ironworks gear (or Coil gear if i can get my hands on them)

I’ve given up on Master Crafting, since the stats i need for those are out of my reach. I might as well wait for Heavensward before i pick up Crafting and Gathering again.

The main thing i want to focus on, once Heavensward is released, is to level my Paladin to 60 through the story as soon as i can. Just so that i’m ready for Alexander, when it’s released. Next to that, i’m dying to get my hands on the Astrologian, but also level my White Mage and Bard to 60.

My list is very very very short and still I don't know if I can complete it.

• Complete final coil. (Damn i just clear t12 two days ago. With my inactive static i doubt to clear it before the release I will never be able to clear it if my static member develop an elitist attitude even on P1 training.)

- Trying to get some BRD gear from WoD*

* Bad luck so far. Just as with the Zodiak quest :S
