There's still 2 weeks, you'll find out very quickly if it is or not, especially if you still do content like Ifrit/Garuda (basically anything to take you to 2/3 camps they spawn in.)

4 1/2 days, actually. the last save is 2 pm PST on the 31st, anything done after that won't carry over to 2.0.

Doesn't matter the camp. Both hats drop in any of the camps. Got 2 hats and 1 tricorne from broken water the last time I did it. Mages dropped the hats and the Magitek dropped the Tricorne.

I guess I wasn't clear enough. I do understand that it doesn't matter what camp they spawn at. I was trying to ask which camp did the imperials spawn at because I have not been able to find them the last few days.

It was literally up for 2 weeks straight like 24/7 now its been down for 24hours in the past what 4-5 days? Sounds like they ended it and didn't tell anyone.

It was abnormal for it to be up all day every day for weeks when it was normally in increments of time, however that was also the best time to actually farm the hat.

I know it has low drop rate but I don't see how anyone could not get it unless they just joined..but iirc you can't even create a XIV account since October began.

What does this have to do with the possibly of it being down the 10-12 days before the final save? Seems like a big mistake to me but I would think it would be polite to make sure the last live event is UP during the last week before the conversion but I guess I'm too nice.

It was normal at the start it was 4 hours UP 4 hours down but after a lore update of the raven clearly talks about the moves on the troops being more aggressive they stayed 24/7 UP then came the lore update that troops are amassing at some place in mor dhona then they poofed

Official statement will be on Tuesday where we get told its to late for them to do anything and to look forward to 2.0. A bit odd though with less than 4 days to go till the end of the world all the npc's are pretty much twiddling their thumbs.

Unconfirmed to be going but very likely to be so. A rep responded with "you have plenty of time to get them" which means that they are going at some point or they responded awesomely vaguely lol.

Undoubtedly there will be better items though - at some point at least :P

I was but out of the 6-7 pub parties I didn't get any of the tricornes, or we went 0/80 and disbanded. Again you keep bring this up buts its really irrelevant, the event should not have ended as early as it did period.

They had to end it early. How else could they put in that other awesome event with cool item that everyone has been hurrying to do just before the final save. They couldn't leave us wishing for the world to end out of pure boredom now could they. Nope nope nope!

It's a legitimate question, because when something that respawns damn near instantly is up for 24/7 for weeks...you had a lot of chances to get it.

Thus why it's a legitimate question. Also that's pretty bad even for something like this, you sure it was killed properly? I seen people doing the leashing method and killing it unclaimed.

No one said it wasn't a legitimate question but why do you continue to ignore the main damn point? I have a job and shit to do so I did it as often as I could getting 1/2 hats. Only a couple of those groups for leeching parties with a couple getting killed while yellow. The others where having a pld straight tank the gundam while you sleep and kill the other mobs. This is a SE drop rate you can go 0/100 EASY or go 10/30, I just happen to get the shitty drop rates.

Give me one good reason to end the event a week and half before the final save when SE previous stated it would go on till the last save. You seem bend on just posting "well you should of done it while it was up for 2 weeks", which is rather pointless.

Not everyone can sit and play for 14 days straight. People do have lives etc and don't want to sit at the same NM for 2 weeks, especially when you are PUGing it and when they do drop they just drop to people that get it in there pool and leave either right away or after another kill, so the PUG PTs usually disband pretty quickly.

My Mrs killed it alot while it was up, she must have seen about 30+ tricones drop alone, did she get 1 in her pool? It wasn't a scheduled event. It's basically a hard to get limited edition item. Just like nael's earrings.

Not everyone is gonna get it. Hence the word rare.

Not every event has to be like seasonal events.
