It's confirmed that Garuda drops 2 items every win. Even when a weapon drop, you still get 2 headdresses.

This makes that you only need 20 wins to buy a weapon with your headdresses.

For moogle weapons you needed 20 nuts, but there wasn't a 100% drop of a nut every win. So you need way more wins on moogle to get enough nuts to buy a weapon.

This makes that the high droprate has nothing to do with the amount of headdresses needed for a weapon, but with the difficulity of Garuda. (and/or that SE is tired of keeping us busy with one prime :p)

I have a question about your Video I noticed your WHM Devils Advocate is he switching Between weapons? To help DD then switch back to another weapon for healing? its hard to notice but it caught my eye here and there throughout the video.

I wasn't switching weapons. I was gear swapping boots and gloves for buffs and then back to DL boots and healers gloves for cures. I've later come to realize this is not necessary. I was just being too cautious and worried about enmity.

Is there any kind of incap you can do to Garuda, like with Ifrit? My LS did the L40 fight last night w/ an all-melee dd setup and we tried every incap we had available to us but we weren't able to damage any body parts. Just wondering if it was different for the Hard mode fight.

I'm glad to hear that it is balanced around a mix of magic and melee, my group on their best classes fits the bill perfectly so I have some high hopes. If it really is better with only 1 WHM then that's even better.

Probably the best news is that its guaranteed 2 headdresses per person, so if the entire group gives their items to one person you get a weapon every 3 runs.

We have not seen any evidence of Garuda being able to have parts incapacitated yet. We will keep testing.

Adiyah did/can do close to 100% more damage than BRD on Suprana and about 5~6k more on Garuda than her best BRD attempts. DRG is definitely the way to go for more damage output and solid AoE.

The only downside to having 1BRD is obviously:

- no minuet means you need to rethink your gearset to add more ACC
- no second BV to output more damage overall
- no double Prism+SS before/after Aerial Blast

But when you can adapt to overcome those the fight goes much more smoothly. :D

as long as your have your fletching item your are guaranteed 2 headdresses. We've gotten 3 actual drops out of 7~8 attempts. If everyone gives totems to a single person 3 runs in a row that's an extra weapon bought. 5 total weapons so far.

As far as DRGing goes acc is sucking for me right now. I have 383 total and impulse drive still doesn't want to hit at the worst times imaginable lol. I can't really squeeze much more acc outside of melding it.
