Constant 90002 Error

Used Pingzapper to play last night, it was fine. So guys, don't go reformating your computers, it's a network issue.

Never mind SE... Reddit fixed it for me... Go back to whatever it is you weren't already doing.

I'm from the EU playing on an NA server on PS4... I managed to finally get free of the Quarrymill Limbo thing.

How?

An FC mate shared a link with me on Discord to Reddit and it fixed it instantly. Like so;

Set up internet connection like this:

IP Address (set to automatic)

-DHCP host name (set to Do Not Specify)

-DNS Settings (set to Manual)

-Primary: 8.8.8.8

-Secondary: 8.8.4.4

-MTU Settings 1470

-Proxy (set to Do Not Use)

I hope this helps some of you out, until SE stops being quiet about it.

Still the same issue. I get 90002 when I do things.

PS4 Constant Disconnect Temp Solution
Thanks to Jozu, we PS4 players who are having DC problems and are stucked somewhere unable to play, now we have the solution (until SE get it fixed)

Hah just posted, cool yes i did it and it worked.

It didnt work for me... I'm on PC, maybe it only works with PS4.

Can we please get word on why i cannot login back into the game after teleporting to quarrymill? i'm missing out on beast tribe dailies, Raiding with my fc & many more things as we speak.

I'd really love atleast some news as to why this is happening only in quarrymill and only to a select few people. ( I'm on Pc, Primal - Exodus Having the exact same limbo issue where you get insta booted when you log back into the game and cannot do anything about it )

All of my other characters outside of quarrymill are fine so it's clearly quarrymill... can we perhaps get some gms to boot people out of quarrymill so we can get back to playin' the game?

I get extremely consistent disconnects in instanced content only. I play on Exodus and live in Georgia, so it should be okay. In Susano Extreme I use one ability and it is INSTANT 90k.

Its not only in Quarrymill!! Im having this problem in mor dhona!

Mhm well the random dc's have something to do with NA servers still being ddossed if i'd have to guess but the instant kickout from quarrymill was fixed after i tried:

Starting up CMD -> ipconfig/flushdns -> ipconfig/renew -> Restarted my pc

I can't understand that this disconnection problem takes forever to be solved. Square Enix is not a new company that needs customers to understand its problems, on the contrary, you are old enough to fix ddos, rmt and congestion fast without compromising the game. No one can play like this: being disconnected every 5 seconds you enter an instance. Its not only one world... its all servers in NA! Come on, I wanna play!!! and enough with this premade responses from help desk, I'm sick of it.

Seems to me like they modified their DNS records which is why changing/renewing DNS will work.
I had been affected by the issue Tuesday and Wednesday but have played the whole day today just fine.

New patch up and the same error... I can't play it for the past 3 days! I'm really sad. Thanks SE . . .

Maintenance over and still having the same 90'k issue as before. Anyone else also got this?

Was hopeful the maintenance would be a fix, and it wasn't.

been about 48 hours and the error is still there, I am still unable to level or play decently, my connection is "excellent" from what the character selection screen says, other games such as Overwatch , Tera , BnS , BDO work just fine....the problem is not on my end even though my latency has been worse since they moved their servers.
Now the point is...that while I'm not forced to pay for those games, I pay for a subscription here and I do not intend to spend more money on a VPN service such as WTfast or PingZapper.
Enix should at least give their players some answers be it servers congestion or ddos or whatsoever and in that case...do something to fix the issue for their paying playerbase.

Just like all the other players since the release of patch 4.01 I have been unable to play. All I can do is log in and see myself disconnect after a couple seconds while other players still run around.
There does not seem to be any addressing to this big issue of loads of players being unable to play, even the last maintenance was just about some small things not about this issue.

I am the saddest panda right now. I made sure I had all my verity gear ready for the raid. In three years I've never had any 90k issue. Now this, unable to play for days and still unable to. I will have to actually cancel my sub because I'm paying for something I can't play right now. Absolutely gutted. :(

This appears to be fixed for me since the patch, for what it's worth. I have no idea if it's related or not.

I constantly get this error in POTD and PVP no where else.

Update: The issue primarily happens in Palace of the Dead and in PVP. It's especially awful because I can't start making attempts at the solo 1-200 PotD achievement since every 90002 counts as a death and kicks me out.

Still getting it constantly in PvP. It's guaranteed that, at a minimum, the first PvP game I play after logging on will DC me with a 90002 error.

Happening to me on and off on Behemoth, playing from the US too. It doesn't seem tied to anything though and it doesn't happen all that often, maybe once a night so far?

I had it a couple of times fighting the last boss of Kugane Castle last night, but today I got 90k'd 4 times trying to do Palace of the Dead.

After leveling my first 2 characters without doing PoTD or pvp cause of this error today I decided to give it a try once more ; the issue has not been solved , 90002 every 3 minutes . I'm really sick of it.

I'll occasionally get 90002 errors every couple of days if my Internet's slow that day, not that big a deal since it's probably my internet. But last night my character got a 90006 error and since then I'll get a 90002 error when trying to login with her. I was at The Lochs when it happened so I'm hoping it's just a congestion issue that'll get fixed when they add instances Tuesday. It's not a issue with my internet either, I'm able to log into a different character just fine.

90Ks all weekend in Susano EX. All other roulettes not having problems.

Last weekend got 3 90k's in 3 hours doing Lakshmi. This week Mon-Thurs a minimum of one a day while in a dungeon. Now I'm starting to get the error while farming in the open world.

I'm not sure if this is odd, but anytime I am in Kugane, it seems I get the 90002 error alot more then I do out in the world...

In this case, I wonder if it may have something to do with certain city states or regions

Are you guys having the error 90002 only while youre inside the dungeons or out of them too?
Im getting them like 3~4 times on every dungeon I go, but it stops after the duty is complete.

Also, whats the actual "status" from Square upon this error? Any news lost on this 50 pages?

Enough is ENOUGH! Figure this shit out! Is it our ISP's!? If so whats the fix here SE. I'm so sick and tired of this error, Its even more a slap in the face after sitting in DF queue for 25 minutes and than getting hit with a big ol Eat a @#$k 90k, back to the back of the line do not pass go do not collect $200. I'M SICK OF IT!

*Edit* sorry for the salt folks I really am. But god damn it makes me grind my teeth with frustration at this point*

I get 90002 while running dungeons. Up to 3 times per run and i had a couple of 90006 while being in the Mist.

I get them just standing there...with how it's been last night and this morning, I don't dare try to go into PVP or dungeons...I'm getting disconnected so often, it's difficult just to do one GC turn in and I lost some HQ crafting mats because I got disconnected while trying to craft an HQ item. I also get disconnected while trying to reconnect after getting disconnected. SE, fix your servers!

Have been getting the 90002 error as well after logging in, can't seem to do anything...about 10 minutes before DC'ing. My game is virtually unplayable at this rate....Fix it Square Enix!

Support tickets 7370595, 7370316, 7370370 did not solve anything (all of this info is already on the forum).

The worst thing is that SE did not give any information about the status of this error as if they just did not care for their paying customers...

For the past 2 days i was just crafting. And i never got kicked from the server. 90002 only hit me while i was in dungeons. This morning i got kicked with a 90001?! While crafting inside my house.

Ever since the Storm Blood Early access when ever i am in a dungeon i 90002 at least once but ONLY in instances/dungeons/trials/raids i haven't DC'd in the main world unless the server went down or the area. i have no idea why this has been happening but as a Healer this is getting my blood to boil (pun intended).

My Fiance also plays but even if i am running a dungeon with her on the same connection only i 90K and i know its no the internet or my ISP since this is the only game i have connection problems with and its in a very set way. nothing like 90king 3-4 times in Delta 1-4 almost every fight.

i hope this gets fixed because i would really love to enjoy the content in the game. i wont even try savage because of this issue

I played for a month without 1 error per day, but since yesterday I get this shit every 1 minute ingame.... this is ridiculous!

Curious if there are even any mods reading this. I feel like SE is just sweeping this issue under the rug because it's been weeks since our last update on the ddos on ISP's. Really annoying because this is preventing me from playing the game on certain days. When the connection is fine I can walk to limsa and occasionally see people with DC signs over their heads.

I'm a PC player in the states playing on a NA-Primal server and I've been getting disconnected constantly in Palace of the Dead for close to a month now, if not more. I go into Palace and get 90002 shortly after, re-log and get 90k again. It repeats until the end of the round or I get kicked from the party.

I tried running Palace on my PS4 and I was able to get to floor 10 with just one disconnection. The problem is I don't plan on buy another copy of Stormblood for my PS4 just so I can play some content that should be available to everyone.

Any information about what is causing this issues and/or steps being taken to fix it would be appreciated.
