Could you add apricot kernels as a 408 gathering item from the unspoiled node in Middle La Noscea? It just seems odd that that node only gives apricots since they are not needed for any of the profession turn in items.
In the case of the FFXIII event weapons, will future classes such as the upcoming Rogue get their own event weapon? And if so, would we have to hope for the return of the event to get them? Or will we be able to trade a spare package left over from previous occurrences of the event to a certain NPC?
As a side question... Is there any reason we didn't get any special shield from that event?
That said in the event Rouge gets its own weapons, iw as wondering if you cna trade one of the weapons for another one of them if that happens?
Is there any method to how you choose which questions to answer for these Live Letters? Do you already have a general game plan of what points within the topics you want to cover, before vetting our questions? And if so, do our questions (and likes) mainly serve to give you an idea of how much time to spend on the points?
I ask because I remember very good questions being asked in the past with high "like" ratings being totally ignored, whereas other less liked (and often relatively unimportant) questions were often fielded. Additionally, the same questions were asked several times with slight rewording..such as about housing costs or chocobo or gold saucer.
Just would like to know more about the process.

To encourage players to level up everything, can you make a dress-sphere animation system so that you can set animations in any order you collect to make your own "job change" animations. I know you can do this already with macros but I want a cooler system with flourishes lol ;x

Back before FC housing was first released you mentioned that we could build 'towers' that would give permanent bonuses akin to the current FC buffs, like +% combat exp or +gil drop rate. Since then we haven't heard anything about it. Is this something that is still planned?
I absolutely love housing at the moment. Even with current prices I am enjoying my medium house...

Will we ever have a type of content similar to campaign battle from xi? I think its weird one of the most casual pieces of content in XI didn't show up in XIV, there really isn't much more I'd want from xi except maybe tiered pop systems like BCNM and ZNM.
Previously you mentioned lowering or adjusting the drop rates in the current expert dungeons (Tam-Tara HM, Stone Vigil HM, Hullbreaker Isle) so that they would drop more of the i80 equipment than the constant mineral water or aqueous whetstone but we have not seen much change. Beating a dungeon and having the final drop be mineral water is very... lackluster. When will this be adjusted?

I bought a house when it came avalible but now my FC reached rank 6 and plot prices left are just to high. I'd like to convert my private estate to an FC estate.

When will we get in-game Voice Chat? With the PC version we can easily use TeamSpeak, Ventrilo, Skype, Mumble, etc... what we like, but with the PlayStation version is really difficult. We need to use a notebook, tablet or a smartphone for Voice chat. We living in 2014, but not all player can afford just for voice chat a notebook(tablets and smartphones have bad sound quality).
@nwaar - Yoshi-P covered this several LIVE letters ago. right now weapon racks and armour displays would eat into the memory on the servers to much, but he did say that it is a feature that might be seen after the 3.0 Expansion
PS3 is the only system that can't really do voice chat thru the system. The PS4 chat system works from outside the game enviroment. I have a friend who was running a voice chat with several players, and they all playing different games at the same time on the PS4 system.

Can you make this combo: Bootshine (back) > True Strike (back) > Snap Punch (Side/Flank) also be a usable combo for the front but with a different affect?
Example: In the description of each skill "If used in front of the mob, potency 180"
I find myself a lot of times solo'ing, duo'ing with a non-tank, pvp'ing, mob moving too much, too many effects on screen to see the mobs position, temporarily tanking a mob that I pulled via my aggro, a tank going down and the mob is on me and I'm trying to kill it asap, I'm attacking an add, there is no side or back to attack; you get the point.
I want to have the option to attack from the front without missing out on 40%+ dps.
Can we please have access to the NPC idle animations, or sitting animations? Miqo'te examples (because it's all I've noted), the hunched over sitting on stools, which several races have. The axe animation where the NPC is just idling and stretching with it, on Wolve's Den ship. A cross legged sit with the miqo'te also on Wolve's Den ship. Or more variety in animations in general, I would absolutely love this.
Any chance we could get a roadmap for XIV like we had back in 1.0? It would be nice to know what is in the works for future releases; like what kinds of endgame raid content we have to look forward to for example.
Currently the game's growth has proceeded in a pretty set pattern with content updates containing things like 1 new dungeon and 2 hard modes, a primal, a new coil, and/or a new level of Crystal tower. 2.4 is following this with snow cloak, Qarn (hard) and Sastash (hard), along side Shiva and Final Coil. What direction do you plan on taking the game in the future and will it simply continue to follow this pattern with each update?

Will we see quests/story concerning the twelve? At the start of the game we chose our deity which did nothing for us in game. will we get more lore about each of them and able to redo our choice to have some effect in the game? (maybe a certain outfit bound per deity)
This is a big question and also referring to my last one in a way:
1. Will we ever see personal character growth reflected/put into the questing storyline and/or sidequests. Small details you might add up like choosing a free company to have actual certain effects just in lore or your deity having said effects.
I miss a certain lack of personalisation in a character outside of outfit.
Will allied seals and grands company seals be interchangeable in the future? I really want to get one of those elite GC outfits but the amount of seals needed is insane if you are not an active hunter, and even if you are it is quite a lot.
What perks do Eternal bond give right now and are you guys actively looking for good stuff to add from the forums?
Will the Eternal Bond system be kept up to date and updated with content once in a while or will it just be a single update in 2.45?
Just to mirror @Akamu_Aniketos, I want to add that there should be viable combos for melee DPS to use when playing solo -or- some other way to mitigate damage. DRG jumps, for example, could give def buffs only while they are in effect...or make a player considered out of a threat-zone for enemy abilities.
Not asking to be a tank, but something very minor to give options in solo play.
