Need chocobo to do the jump from the vertical log in the right side on the screenshot. You have to start with chocobo looking in the right direction if you want to be full speed for a successful jump.
#62 Southern Thanalan: Minotaur Malm (14, 26) Heatwave weather, 5am-8am, /psych emote.
# 69 Coethas - /lookout close to the stairs on the top of the tower.

Still having trouble figuring out to get on top of the large furnace for 35. Any tips?
#70 in particular but very interesting piece of information:
12am-8am was blizzard weather in Coerthas. As we all know, there is an overlap where the time of day is correct but it's the "old" weather. It's previously been thought that you have a very short window to spam emotes and "get lucky" with the old but correct weather and the new correct time. Nope. Isn't possible, sadly.
I tried to do it at #70. 8:02am and it was still blizzarding, so did /lookout. It targetted myself like it normally does when you correctly find one, but nothing else happened and it did *not* add to my sightseeing log. Changed from blizzards to snow. So, /lookout in blizzards at 8am - 10am is 99.9% correct but due to server latency in the time/weather changing...nope. I'm waiting this one out.
I was able to get #39 at 5:56am in the rain with /lookout. Rain doesn't make sense, so I wonder if it's weather irrelevant.
#48 confirmed
/lookout, 4pm, fair
# 75 : Coerthas (26,17) : On the roof of one of the two houses with green bricks

I jump from the other one on the right (the highest that you can easily reach). It's not easy and the 2 first times I reach it I was not able to stop on the log ^^'

#038 at 7 AM. So it likely goes until 8 am. Will need to test.
I got it at 11:00 am on clear weather (/lookout) :

I think the one you put for 68 is in reality the number 69. In the French version for the number 69 we can read :
"When the weather is not too foggy, the astronomer never fails to watch the sun set over the tower of the eye. The penumbra time soon installed, he climb on his stool and carefully scrutinize the stars"
I just found the#68#69
Both are in the observatorium.
#68 speak about "busy with work" too, it's because it's near the scientist in the observatorium. (EDIT : Actually it seem like I was wrong about that)
#68#69 Coerthas (25,29) First floor, highest lamp.

Now all places are known ^^
The "slipped and fell" is probably because of the ladder like in the french version. The #69 say he was "enjoying the sight" he can't enjoy the sight inside so #69 need to be outside.
#68 says "I suppose the view is impressive, yes, but it's rare that I have a moment to appreciate it" because he's inside.
French version is just the most accurate version for the #69.
Absolutely all version are good for all vistas but some are more accurate in some language.
So he fell of the ladder and got hung up on his underpants... interesting >.> let's see what emote we'll need - /stagger XD
Doesn't work at 11 pm. I will stay here until i will have it. Too hard to climb here...Quote:
#048 "I stood there atop the butchered arbor, my fist trembling in anger. Those who would harm our forest home must be shown no quarter." Such were the sentry's words, and I would see as he saw.
North Shroud, Ixali Logging Grounds (18, 19) | 4pm to ? | Fair | /lookout
I think a lot of the Coerthas ones are messed up at the minute. Yes we have all the co-ordinates, but we have conflicting information on exactly which number is which. We really need to get some confirmation of actually getting them so we can say for sure which vista is which number there.
French for #75 "It is important to clear snow from the parapets and roof, if only to give them pretty green color tiles."
#71 is "The knight charged ringing matins is often rewarded with a breathtaking view of the holy city."
So #71 and #75 are the good ones (and english go in this way too imo).
Need to know the german ones (for #68 and #69 too)
EDIT : limit of message reached. I can't post anymore.
I start at the furthest point and turn my chocobo on the right direction. I run and jump on the log and ... fall ...fall ... fall again and again and with some luck I am on the log (and sometime fall again ......)
I can't really help more, it's a really random jump.
Translation of the german text:
#68: The adjusting works need to be done until sundown. This is the reason why the working Astrologers have no time to enjoy the view.
#69: My conversational partner told me how he flunked death by a hairs breadth as he staggered and fell in the deep. But as if by miracle he didn't drop to the floor. It's said to be foggy that day.
#71: Ishgard got dire straits coming. But deep in their hearts, the view of the proud castle under the azure sky renews the oath that the knights of the morning watch declared upon their holy empire.
#75: The snow impedes the work of the watchmen, but it transforms the area in a storybook landscape. Whoever is looking for seclusion will find it higher then the highest fire.
:x
How do you get up to the lamp in West than in Castrum? #51?
Nm got it :) can jump on the lower box on left of pile, then onto the box and over those tube things to box on the right and onto lamp.
Really is a difference in the teaser text on these between languages. Would say they are a lot more difficult in certain languages (English...). Could someone check a couple of those not yet found and perhaps a few others that have no time/emote/weather clue, like #43 or #76 or #37? Thanks in advance.
Still waiting at Coerthas #70 and #71 for either blizzards at 8am-10am or clear at the same time / day, but it's being not being very co-operative at all.
We've already got every vista. All locations posted in our google doc are accurate, although some may be a different number (the coerthas ones, basically). Still, all coordinates are actual vistas.
Doc is found here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...hxw-sY/pubhtml
Right now we're just working on getting time and weather for all of them.
