Vanity slot restriction concerns.....

lore is already broken its final fantasy. lore is broken from FF13 fate's in eorzea, CT broke the lore, ffxi shantotto broken the lore also.

frogot to mention there focus is fanservice that right there kills any lore.

That would completely destroy the point of a vanity system. A player can already throw on whatever they want out of combat.

Pretty much. Just making it an MMO destroyed any hope for maintaining a hardcore immersion/RP standard, barring an impossible to achieve standard of restrictions on everything from naming to in game behavior.
