The Seventh Umbral Age is Upon Us

Someone should record all the conversations they have with the battlewardens, as they also make references to everything that's going on around Eorzea. I'll add Nophica Wells battlewarden stuff here:

Nophica's Wells Battlewarden: My name is not important. I am here on behalf of the Brass Blades as this region is much in need of help.

Nophica's Wells Battlewarden: Dark times are upon us, adventurer. Once-peaceful creatures now stalk the innocent; shadowy travelers from foreign lands speak of forthcoming doom. Why, even the skies have become our nemesis.

Nophica's Wells Battlewarden: Listen. We must stand together if we are to weather the storm, and so I ask you to join us, adventurer. A party will depart in approximately 2 minutes.

One of the NPCs on the outside of the Northern Gate of Uldah mentions that the creatures have grown larger due to the appearance of deaspected crystals.

Didnt everyone agree awhile back that something was supposed to happen May 6th or 7th?

Assuming something happens on 6/7, it won't be for about 7-9 more days I'm assuming. Probably longer.

EDIT: After doing some math, I'm assuming sometime between the 14th and 15th 6/7 will happen.

well i think everyones expecting a version update of some sort around the middle of may (14th, 15th) i think the big date thats been hinted around from yoshida's letter is july 6th which we can speculate to be either a ps3 launch, expansion, when they feel like their finished with the game, anything

Everyone shouldn't be expecting an update in May at all as the recent letter from Yoshi-P plainly stated that the current plan is to make a patch in June. He went as far as to say that something MIGHT be done in May, in a small 1.17b patch, but that is far from a solid promise. Where you get the date of July 6th is beyond me? Let alone speculation of a PS3 launch/expansion.

He also said patch 1.17b could happen, and unless there's something in the data I missed I'm sure there will be an update before this event happens to add the mobs/etc. for whatever will hapen.

Mun-Tuy Battlewarden: Now, the way I see it, the only way to glean any truth from that rumor is by slaying more beasties. And it just happens an organized culling will begin in approximately 3 minutes. What say you join us?

Oh man, I'm in Coerthas right now, alone, so I hope nothing happens while I'm still out there. If they decide to drop high level monsters around the world while I'm out there grinding then I'm boned.

a few people took the date in yoshida's poem and related it to real earth time. from the era that we are in atm, the day that we will hit the seventh umbral age is july 6th earth time. with E3 in early june, we might see some news about ffxiv. and even though you say "shouldn't"; people are
