1: that's not what she was talking about
2: just allowing people to preorder the CE upgrade does not solve the problem, as it would penalize those that purchased the 1.0 collector's edition to begin with, which would be paradoxical.
Well, it looks like an answer has already been given as to how we get the CE and pre-order items. We'd have to buy another copy of the game. Really, as a legacy member, I don't give a spit. I already get some cool things just for being Legacy, such as a lower subscription fee and an exclusive in-game choco mount. I don't necessarily need anything else. As for the out-of-game bonuses, well, in case you didn't get my message the first two times...

'Nuff said. :D
No it hasn't. And I don't expect it to be instant as well. Even if they were considering to implement something like this, it's no decision that can be taken in a couple days.
This thread is not about "getting" things. It's about being able to pay a reasonable fee for them, granting SE a 100% net gain.Quote:

I thought Katella already said it's been confirmed that you could buy the items, but it would cost about the same as buying a new game. That seems like an answer to me.
I'm aware of what the thread s about. My point was merely that it didn't matter too much to me since what I want (from the CE version anyway) I could get another way (probably a lot cheaper), and the rest I could live without.
lol I don't really think it was very condescending. It seemed to me like just an answer.
Granted, not a lot of people are going to like that answer. However, that's the way the cookie crumbles. But who knows, maybe they'll change their mind. Though, given the statement made, there seems to be about as much of a chance of that happening as allowing people to buy their way into legacy. (shrug) Yeah, it kind of sucks. But what are ya gonna do?
The pre-order bonuses are only available to those who pre-order, and we currently have no plans of offering them elsewhere. If you would like to receive pre-order bonuses, you will need to pre-order a copy of FFXIV: ARR.
