Again my justification is SE offering one final Thank you for sticking around to the very end. One relic is not a slap in anyone's face because everyone will have the choice, if they offer a NPC to give current players relics in ARR and you CHOOSE not to take it, it's your fault and you have no reason to complain... Again this would be to ALL current players.

if you want relic in 2.0, earn it. drop the moaning entitlement. where does it end? free darklight? free 100million gil? free chocobo with 700% movement speed? a button you can push for whatever you want in the game, whenever you want it? lifetime of free play because you paid for a couple months of 1.0?

they've thanked us enough. legacy get a special chocobo and a fee discount in 2.0. we already have tokens to remember 1.0 by (even if you didn't get white ravens, there's still dalamud horn and goobbue, among other things).

free relics IS a slap in the face, and no amount of "no it isn't" posturing will change that. you try to argue it isn't because it would benefit you and people whom you perceive to be in a similar situation as you. how is it not a slap in the face of someone who's 7/7? or 6/7? or 4/7? or even 1/7?

these people spent tens and hundreds of millions of gil on those relics. what have you spent? these people spent tens and hundreds of hours grinding seals, grinding av/cc, grinding spiritbond, learning and mastering ifrit extreme. how much time have you spent?

giving people a CHOICE not to take it wouldn't change the fact that you people are being whiny, entitled crybabies about something completely ridiculous.

you want free, easy to get stuff? relic isn't for you. it was never for you. that's not what they designed it for. so don't even begin to try taking away from what it means to people whom they did design it for. pick up your grand company weapons and have a blast, and stop drenching the forum in your entitled tears.

if SE give you the weapons (all of them! lol) after the final save it's not for nothing
just play with them to kill the mobs in Uld'ah and if you like them, work your ass off in 2.0 to get it

He's getting seriously bent out of shape over what is in all ways a pastime. You need to put this into perspective when terms like "Grow a spine" and "You deserve no respect" are thrown out there. I agree with his point, but he has taken it way too far.
