Been farming Bunker for a month now, and today was the most painful run yet.
Not because people were doing dumb things, or tanks were trying to kill me, or any of the usual stuff.
No, it was painful because I was lagging like crazy the entire time. Apparently, so were the other two DRKs, and most of B, and two of my group's DPS. I had to pick up third boss when one of them went down. MT'd it for almost the whole duration, with my stance off. That's how bad it was for people, apparently. Friend said an entire group DC'd in their Dun Scaith run a few minutes ago, too.
NTT strikes again, I guess? -

Last time it happened, the DPS pulled the boss before I got there. I took me sweet time pulling aggro off that DPS. They didn't do it again after that :) -

A friend (NIN) and I (WAR) queued into an in-progress Tower of Babil. They'd been stopped at the first boss somehow. We get into the boss fight, and on the very first major mechanic the healer somehow manages to die. We finish the fight anyway. Everything is mostly okay till we get to the last boss, where I watch the other DPS /chuckle as they attempt to get my friend killed. They failed. Healer also attempts to kill said friend by pulling them into a mechanic. At this point I've noticed my friend getting very low, and the healer is just not healing anybody except the other DPS who they'd presumably queued with. Cue me from left field with the spikes chasing me. I weave straight around my friend, kill both of them with the mechanic, and proceed to keep said friend alive with Nascent Flash for the entire remaining duration of the fight.
Healer and DPS then threaten to report me. I /chuckle and portal out.
I don't know if this makes me the bad guy in the situation, but it was sure entertaining. -

drks like to joke about how barrier healers will just get them killed but as someone who has leveled all his tanks and is now leveling his healers I'm fairly certain that it's just most people -suck- at playing drk.
i've had wonderful runs with drks even as sch/sage and then just dozens where the drk is just... bad. like really, really bad. no cooldowns or they can't keep pull and i have no idea what's up with those people.
