Yup. I came to the same conclusion, and have already predicted a full rework sometime during EW. Announcement of it will likely come 6.1 if it is going to happen, and we'll get it in either 6.3 or 6.4.

There is just no way all this negative feedback about SCH has not reached this dev team. But they need to see that no one is playing the job anymore to convince them, and given that SCH mains have another option with SGE, a SCH strike will be pure happenstance.
