Why can't some info be stored on an individual's PC for the game to reference instead of always 'straining' the servers?

I'm going to put in my vote for gear with unique stats.
I'm just going to say it now, the gear we have is boring. Every new piece is just a straight stat upgrade from the rest, and items of the same level and slot are basically identical, save for appearance and secondary stats swap here and there. I want something more interesting. Gear which boosts a skill potency, or reduces recast times. Something with a chance to deal bonus elemental damage, or a shield which deals some of the blocked damage to your enemies.
The gear we have currently is so plain in comparison to FFXI. And before you jump on the bandwagon and say 'this isn't FFXI', I know. Believe me I do. But even in early FFXIV, we had gear with unique stats. The original relic weapons themselves had unique stats after all, so it's not an excuse to be bland.
I hear you. Stuff that other MMOs have, like set bonuses, ie "crit +10 with two pieces of (x) set", and so forth. Promoting different combinations for different bonus effects. But then again, it seems like the devs don't bother researching other games, so why bother.
Zone-wide on-screen message when an S Rank is spawned.
Get rid of leve allowances, give us a glamour log, fix macros so I can actually see the tooltip for the ability, and let me talk to NPCs while mounted.
On the party list, add colors to the hp, mp, and tp bars to match the parameter UI.
More solutions to inventory issues. Bait box, raid tokens in the currency window, glamour log to name a few.
Better net coding to resolve disconnection issues and button press delay.
Stop region locking promotions for JP/EU/NA accounts, so that everyone can take advantage of every promotion.
Savage maps (repeatable outdoor content for skilled teams). These would be spawnable bosses for 8 man teams and a way to progress current tier gear. Extreme trial difficulty. The reward system should encourage helping other people even if you already did it once. Maps could be obtained in tiers from previous savage maps and the first map could be obtained by clearing an extreme trial or savage raid boss with a newbie bonus. This would encourage helping strangers and FC members. Maps would be tradeable and sellable on the MB.
Solo challenges like the jumping puzzles in the sightseeing log, but more related to thinking skills. Like a maze without a map which coils around itself in impossible ways (Lucid Nightmare in WoW). Or word, letter and number puzzles (Greatest Story Never Told in FFXIV). Maybe diving in a 3D underwater maze with a timer, or some kind of memory tests. Basically I'd like something similar to jumping puzzles in the way that you can't just google the solution for it. The rewards should be cosmetic and unique.
1. Kicking people out the Private/FC housing or apartment.
(sometime when you leave the house open, some players will go in and no leave ugh)
2. Upgrade Blacklist.
FFXIV harassment no only by words but by emotes and other stuff.
so if i have blacklist players i do not want to SEE him even on my screen.
- When in the retainer menu, be able to choose another retainer without having to leave the menu all together.
- Be able to leave permanent notes on the map like FFXI, pls.
- shouldn't be able to lot on gear you already have on a retainer.
- everything should be stackable to 99 omfg
- tackle storage
- why is the keyitems storage so darn huge?
- be able to store relics in armoire
- be able to store ALL of my darn artifact gear in the armoire??
- be able to store ALL event items in the armoire???
- why does this piece of Junk armoire exist if we can't store 75% of the things we own???
