JP Only

I am curious. I must have missed this piece of information when it was announced. Could someone please direct me to the page where the developers announced that FFXIV will have region-specific servers?

lol the "NA {No Thanks}"-thing on Alexander had nothing to do with language. A lot of JP just hated the Americans, because of their selfish playstyles and being very rude when it came to communication. A lot of the JP had no problems with joining up with Europeans. Of course there was still the JP Onry group which did exclude anything non JP.

Actually no, they have said they PLAN to provide regional servers, while still keeping the international servers. Yoshi-P and the whole "everyone should be able to choose what they want" thing..

They said nothing of sorts -- What was stated was they were thinking about splitting servers into International and Language Specific, not so much they would relocate servers to different regions.

Yea all these many years of FF MMOs and this is the first JP Only I've ever seen. Til that day I thought it was a joke among the US players and nothing more.

I have had tons of JP parties in XI that were 99% JP and even though I understood nothing I contributed to the chat with my random fake JP faces and Auto Translate jokes. We all had good times, some even added my to friendslist. I was so shocked at the reply i had to screenshot it as proof "JP Only" really exists. >_<;

Oh and this was JUST after complaining in LS chat about nobody partying at my level. >.>;
