ARC should not be a Bard

The point is, nobody said anything about Bard being invited as a DD. You brought that up out of the blue. I dont think anyone thought that BRD would be invited as a pure DD. I know I certainly didn't. The patch notes made it pretty clear that BRD was a hybrid buff/DD class. No one thought otherwise, Well, except for you, and it's clear that your reading comprehension is a little lacking, so we'll give you a pass on that one. But at least your opinion is reinforced.

You do realize that archer got nerf and lost its top DD spot 2 patches ago? MRD AND LNC have been out DPS archer awhile now. So what you are actually upset about is that archer got nerfed and isn't the "TOP DD" anymore correct? Well I hate to tell you but range DD is never going to be a top DD again in this game for the obvious reason that its range gives the job an advantage.

So now looking at the this thread myself and other though bard would end up alot like FFXI bard but that isn't the case. Sure we don't do as much damage as the other DD but are damage is still very respectable while providing a added benefit to the entire party. Regardless they did a good job of combining a DD and a support, giving the best of both worlds. If people don't like it then stay archer, I can think of many reason when you might need alittle extra range DPS.

What I'm upset about is that every other DD class got a new DD job. And only ARC, a dedicated ranged DD class was saddled with a support job, instead of pure DD job.

If SE needed a new support job so much, they at least could've made it stemmed not from ARC, but from CNJ and THM combined in some manner.

It would've been much more logical. Instead of what we have now. WHM is required to become a part-time gladiator first, and BLM - a part-time pugilist? How sillier can you get? It has a feel of SE running out of options and simply starting forcefully fitting new stuff into the old leftovers.

No i was making my own statement .. Stop using me i dont even know who is fighting who.. All im saying it brd belongs to arc and ppl to stop crying about it.

I'll name call, someone who is posting A LOT in here is an idiot. I'm sorry if brd isn't want you personally wanted arc to become, that is for anyone who is q.q about "losing" the pure ranged DD, but it is what it is. Either play brd or don't. You can stay on ARC just like i intend to stay on GLA for tanking, or just use warrior. I wish PLD was alot better but it isn't. There might be plans to fix PLD as it came out in a manner other than intended, Brd is not meant to be and won't be patched to be the pure ranged DD job you pray for. You can be frustrated by this, but yelling at everyone so you can vent your anger isn't the answer.

Ive always been against Archer > bard
Archer -> theif would have been much cooler imo.
Also /rage quits bard at taking away the ability to have all three songs up at once(Comeone SE at least two, even XI let us have two..)

I at first didn't like it either but it has been growing on me. I would have like to see a rogue bard but lets just see how it plays out.
