lol join forum date is NOT when the player starts to play this game.
I only signed up to this forum after several months of playing already, so the date on my profile is not at all when i started to play.
No need to have brought that up as a means to say OP has no experience.
On the other hand however, and i have seen in other posts if someone does not have a job @ 60 well... yeah
Please try to atleast level all tanks to level 60 and experiment with there cds, stance switching in raids this includes current ex primals and midas savage before you post about giving a buff to dark knight imo which is not needed there top tank stance dps (this doesn't include stance switching). Now if we are talking about stance switching imo war>=drk>pld..( please correct me if i got my symbols correct)
Oddly, some of the most interesting theorycraft/math that I've read comes from a non-tank main who only has one tank at 60. Most people hardly notice if it's done well.
There are situations where theorycrafting on a job that you don't actually raid on will lead to some fairly obvious blunders (especially on a job like DRK), but it's still helpful to read these. Intuitively knowing that something is sub-optimal isn't the same as knowing why it is sub-optimal, and scrutinising these errors in reasoning forces you to think about your job and your playstyle in more depth. You should be verifying everything you see in here for yourself anyways prior to making it part of your rotation.
My drk is only at 41 atm, and I don't tank raids, but in my opinion, buffing darkside to 25% seems outlandish. Drk is a tank that already has decent dps in its current state. Buffing it to the point where it completely negates grit kinda defeats the purpose of the "give and take" mechanic of tank stances. You sacrifice damage to keep aggro.
I have to agree, though...str tanks were dealing some good deeps before that vit thing happened, lost 30% across the board, then grit being a mirror to shield oath, became not a mirror when shield oath got a damage buff. I still agree though that the damage is fine, if anything drk is fine for that id personally only look at Ot utility improvement though most would disagree that itd disturb the balance or something. jedi.
I'm not i166 i'm i200 just Don't hve full gear on
Wait... why? You did the same thing when I asked you a half dozen questions that you didn't answer.
It doesn't really matter. People will look for any reason they can think of to discredit someone or not have to answer their questions. Many of them are really reaching. Too many proud players do not like to admit that they're wrong. I see them frequently on here and in this thread.
Most people are so judgmental and don't like being open-minded. The elitist types would rather tell you that your idea is "stupid" than think outside the box. When it comes to improvement, you always aim higher than what would seem realistic. This way, you don't strive for mediocrity.
Well MT DRK does some more damage than MT PLD while WAR OT does a crazy more damage when then the others, plus they bring slashing debuff utility.
What OP said is too much but DRK could use some kind of buff/utility, especially when OTing. How about a Slashing Debuff on PS when out of Grit or when not DA'ed, this is just a simple example but could be something more complicated too.
