My Thoughts Exactly... People need to stop thinking the game itself is only 50% complete..., Version 2.0 is 50% complete.. ugh lolz.
Sorry but this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17JjuKljd3M
Is not a raid, nor is it an endgame encounter, it looks like an open dungeon, where you zerg everything, and tank spank it from start to end, but if that's end game content to you, hey we gonna have to disagree on that :/ Now! Ifrit would be an endgame encounter.
you obviously havent done it, wait to judge til youve actualy been there(some of the fights early on especialy are clusterf's so its hard to say based on that but the further in you go youll have to dodge mobs, pick your pulls carefuly, and know where the hell to go least you get lost and end up back at the start)
Compare it to Rift then, it wont change the results. Facts are Facts. SE made a blunder releasing the game to get a jump on cataclysm, it backfired, i bet they dint expect the backlash to be what it was a year ago, after all people like us, buy anything that just says Final Fantasy. Then they had a choice, take the game down and rebuild it(2.0) or Milk it. they chose to milk it, nothing wrong with that, again i'm not advocating that you or anybody should pay or not pay, i'm simply stating that the game currently is not on par with any game on the market, so to say is 100% or near 100% is just silly, when you compare the facts.
itl be on par with new releases this year(if there really were any) which is about right considering they had to reprgram most of the basics of the game to get where they are now
no one is comparing it to other games that have been out as their comparison to why they are or are not enjoying the game
other games DO NOT dictate wether or not you can enjoy this one(and if you enjoy it, you do, and youll probly want to play, which is why youll be willing to pay)
if you dont enjoy it, as i say over and over
why are you even here or playing? i dont see how anyone can play something they dont like(which is why wow really puzzles me sometimes cuz alot of its playerbase hates the game but cant stop playing)
i honestly am going to pay whatever price they ask. but it would be way more beneficial for them to make a gradual pricing system leading up to 2.0, i think they would retain more people using this method. instead of WAHBAM full price please
its pretty cheeky to ask for full price when its obviously still got a ways to go going by their road map.
i think $7-$8 is a pretty fair price considering where we are at right here right now.
