Pay to Play Subscription - Cast your votes!

After that concept art and the changes planned, I would give Yoshi my soul gladly as payment.

It feels as much a proposal to us, the playerbase as it would have been to their investors, as right now, we are probably their key resource for feedback, and it is ultimately us who decides this games fate.

Will I be willing to pay monthly though? €12.99 is alot for the game in it's current state.

I would be willing to put forwards around €6 per month with no issue, and not to charge me for additional characters/retainers as the original payment model still states.

1 hour of work = 20 euro (after taxes) and im still a student :P So 15 euro ain't that much. Though, i to think its high, but it IS SE were talking about afterall :P and now weve had it free so long too ^^

I guess I don't have a choice if I want to keep playing now do I?

.... i forgot, im gonna have to pay double (two accounts) ... oh well, 30 euro it is then :Pif they could make it 6 wihout any characters, then 3 per character and 1 per retainer id be happy :D

I doubt SE care how many people play over the coming year. For them, the game begins when V2 launches. They may as well call the re-release FFXIV-2 so that people know it's an entirely new game like FFXIII-2. It's really good of SE to give the new game away for free to PC players, it certainly makes up for the money wasted on last year's product.

Well... it depends, as the game stands right now, I'm not really happy to pay to play the game since I think it still needs more improvment.

I'll probably pay just to keep having fun with my LS, but in my opinion, the game's not ready for P2P.

I think they should have waited until the release of the "new" FFXIV-2

I keep flitting back and forth, I want to play, but damn the stingy old man in me doesn't :D

Re-read it. It's this November-December that they start charging. 2.0 is next year.
