Yoshida' stance on PL and why it is less than ideal.

I wouldn't have a problem with PLing if I knew for certain that the exp gain wasn't faster than intended. I PLed many people as a WHM in FFXI (though PLing there wasn't exactly the same, just me handing out cures while players partied normally).

What I expect from SE is to acknowledge that many of us are concerned about how quickly players are reaching 50. That's all.

Let them destroy the game with their PL system. If it stays Final Fantasy XIV will never last even if it can somehow manage to climb out of the hole it continues to bury. Let them get level 50 in all classes, do the end game content and then quit because they're bored.

I swear Square-Enix didn't learn a single damn thing with Final Fantasy XI. They deserve what they got with this game.

Your fooling yourself if you believe with systems like this that people will stay. It will be fun for awhile and then people will quit. There will be nothing to do.

There's a big difference between letting friends help with challenging content and being lazy and spamming to 50 in a day by letting someone else do it for you. Big BIG difference.

You assume that leveling will be the only thing to do when they've said several several several several times that leveling will be a minor perspective to the game once it's done. They're adding massive PvE along the lines. The whole claiming system was revamped for this purpose as well as new dungeons and god knows what else.

They laid the foundation they needed to pump out more content, just give them some time to produce said content.

They blew that chance when they screwed up the first time. Why should I give him a chance? I gave them a chance when I laid down 84 dollars when the game launched a year ago. A YEAR ago. Every month it's give them more time. Have faith in them. Not anymore. I'm no longer going to be a sap in a gigantic beta test.

I've heard this many times before too. It also never comes true, unfortunately.
