That Haurchefant portrait is great, but I'm really hoping they don't use that as an excuse to skimp out on that minion they said they were going to make...

I wish they went into more detail on airship explorations for those of us who aren't FC members. While they did say we could still take part, the lack of details makes me feel that those of us who prefer to remain unattached are gonna get gimped compared to FC runs.

The Void Ark isn't Allagan. It's Mhachi. The mention of the flood confirms the theory that the Mhachi void mages built it to escape the flood that wiped out Eorzea following the War of the Magi.

I have to say I'm disappointed by the delay though. I barely log in at the moment as there's nothing particularly interesting to do. We got no real 'new' content with the expansion; it was all just new versions of stuff we already had at the end of the 2.X cycle. Judging by how dead my FC and linkshells are I'm fairly certain I'm not the only one either. As much as the devs deserve a break this delay is going to impact subs I think.

The last thing in Mr. Happy's translation.

We had just prevented something like that. Someone joined us at level 1, started asking strange questions

"where's the house?"
"Where's the bank?"
*they put 10 gil into the bank*
"Can i have some money?"
*we ask why they need money at level 1*
"I need to get back to Gridania"
"When can i craft, i need money?"
(they had previously asked for several hundred thousand gil, but never specified what for)

One thing for people concerned about particular pets giving an unfair advantage:

One thing they mentioned was that each Minion has a 'cost' which goes against a total quota of minions you can field at the same time. The stronger the minion, the more it costs. That means that even if one minion has great abilities, the opponent could be fielding 2 - 3 weaker minions for the same quota cost. So you can have a couple of really strong minions but your enemy could be fielding a lot more minions than you and since this game involves defending locations, being very outnumbered could be really bad.

Still no new housing. We need new plots and housing available.

In the summary it don't seem that allagans have build it.
It sound more that it was created by magicians at the end of the 5th astral era (war of magi), shortly before the elementals summoned the big flood to cleans the land (see 1.x WHM jobquests).

But for the EA missions he did mention that we will get points to get items as well............so maybe those items will be of equal value. I didn't touch much on them .

We have a system where, you put in the time/effort and you get the gear and look at the post of people with "nothing to do". The O.F. will welcome the RNG gods with open arms if it means having a reason to repeatedly run content.

*gazes deeply in to the crystallball* i can see the complaints incoming alrdy coz people cant get everything withing the first day of 3.1 , and that they have to grind it to much to get something , + the ones who say they got nothign to do XD
