Yoshi, your reply to Q22 in the XVIII Live Letter was false and dishonest.

I dunno why yall are making such a big deal about this... and what yall are asking for seems like alot to implement. A switch? Between the original unglamour gear that you are originally are wearing and the 2nd switch for being able to see the glamour items? Yall is cray cray. SE ain't gonna do that.

What SE could do is set the glamour sets to our gear sets. This would be more logical than a switch. That way if you are a blm/smn or pally/war, you can have your glamour saved on your pally gear set then have a different glamour to your WARs gear set but the same exact armor.

I really dun have an issues with my glamours but then again... I haven't lvl'd my war or smn to 50 yet.

Yoshi I want you to make a rare glamour armor that when you collect helm, body,gloves legs and feet, it transforms you into something cool looking.

say like Werewolf or a Esper and each set is different form.

I agree with Yoshi in this regard. It will be too much confusing and hurt my eyes. We already had a lot of ppl crying over snowman glamours that ruin the game epicness in coil last year. (yep it's true and buried somewhere in forums). And we already have some weird BDSM like swimsuits (I guess Japanese style?). Tanks running around with cloths and archers with plate armour? erf what? I think we can cry over more serious things than this.

My biggest an only issue with the system at the moment, is that from 1-49 Thaumaturges wear cowls and use wands. However at 50, the shift is made to 2h weapons and separate body and head pieces. So a big part of the glamours they would have are no longer available to them. I don't see why I can't glamour a wand over my staff, or a cowl over my body.

Considering some gear already removes the look of other gear. Eg. The christmas body which covers the hand slot too.

Just wanna give this a little bump because it's important to me.

I made a thread awhile back that kinda got lost in the bajillion threads on a similar issue.
I've been wanting the option to be able to glamour wands/scepters to staves since there are a lot of nice looking wands/scepters that you pretty much never get to use since all good endgame weapons for mages are staves.
Please SE I want to glamour my pretty GC wand for my whm! :(

About the Acolyte's Robe the OP bought up ...

It's actually the standard uniform for high Lv ACN. Both the ACN assistant Guildmaster and the Guildmaster himself wear it.

But if you are SMN, well ... Too bad.

Come to think of it, the dyeable version (Cashemere Robe of Healing and the Direwolf Robe of Healing) are CNJ/WHM/SCH only ... You can't even wear them as ACN!

I use to be able to wear this in 1.0, as a Monk. Now it's only meant for tanks. This isn't heavy armor, this is a lightly armored leather jacket, but it's for TANKS and Dragoons. only, why?

Monks can wear ALL other leather jackets, why not this one?

Who cares? You don't give people enough credit. People are smarter then you think; and not only that, it would be more FUN! The MORE options we have to look OUR own way, the MORE it would benefit US and OUR experience.

The reason why I want more options, is because most of the Monk armors look very flamboyant. So there isn't much to choose from. I end up running around with no shirt on because I won't be caught dead in a lot of the options available.

If there was one thing that disappointed me about the Glamours, it's that I could not Glamour my SCH in ALC AF :(

It's too bad they didn't decide to preserve the "Look" of the game when they decided people could tank in swimsuits and foam snowman outfiits.
