Official Open World PvP Petition

Only if on this server I can play in the Garlean Empire against everybody else so I can kill those Limsa Lominsa jerks.

I never thought about this. That would be pretty interesting if they allowed us to be part of the Garlean's and then let us fight the other alliances. Although that would never go through lore wise since your character is the "Warrior of Light".

Honestly I think open world pvp should be aloud for anyone that is level 50 so that way new players can enjoy the game and hardened players can experience a wider range of fun come on we all like to be the re player once in a while I thin it's a good idea

That can easily be changed in a future patch that updates the story for example Garleans won't be Warriors of Light, but citizens left over that salvaged the Empires technology to try to stabilize their economy after the fall of the empire, with the skyrocketing crime rate, poverty, and people from Eorzea still not happy with the fall of the empire take out their vitriol on the iinnocent citizens of Garlean. For example Garlean can easily have their own classes if they go the Final Fantasy VI route like Celes the Magitek Knight, they can even add original classes like Magitek Gunner, and Magitek Chemist as healer. This is probably years down the line though as it usually takes a while for MMORPG's to update their storyline.

Humm, i don't get how is a open world pvp ?
but something is sure , not a fate somewhere, and annoying anybody not in pvp, it would need a PVP place like a not instancied coliseum to advoiding troll not pvp player.
I don't see the point to make them aviable everywhere.

SE needs to bring the world PvP that Warhammer AoR brought.

It's too late for open world PvP. They won't want casual players to play with hardcore PvPers on same server. This decision should've been done in the very beginning with select servers having open world PvP. Plus Final Fantasy fans aren't the PvP type per-se. Just think about the queues for PvP period, they're long and tedious. Open world PvP isn't going to happen. Sorry guys.

This would be good as long as there was a flagging system. If you want to PvP flag yourself as Overt and any Overt players form a different GC could attack you. Star Wars Galaxies did this 11 years ago...

Otherwise it will just be an annoying gankfest of trolls farming people leveling and normal players having to PvP all the time without being able to enjoy the rest of the game.

Like I said, anyone who has played WAR AoR knows exactly what kind of Open World PvP needs to happen to make it successful. Hell, put me on the team to build an Open World PvP system. For those of you who are assuming an Open World PvP would consist of just allowing you to attack people in the zones, keep the comments to yourself, OW PvP igorance is not constructive.

If you don't like Open World PvP then stick to your PvE worlds. All we are asking is for a server that we can enjoy OW PvP.
