Petition to support polygamous marriage (when the system is released).

I agree wholeheartedly with the OP.

Why should we be restricted to only having one friend??

I have many platonic friends in RL, I have no idea why they devs are so hell bent on restricting it in FFXIV.

This system is exclusionary, and forces us to rank our friends...

Did the devs not think this one through?? :confused:

OP making a very stupid and opportunistic ploy to get something extra in.

2 people of the same gender marrying is fine in the game, but 3 isn't.

I'm just wondering why the whole marriage thing couldn't be RPed in the first place?! There's nothing that can salvage any hope for this generation of gamers if they can't RP in an MMORPG. If the devs are the only ones that can make something "official", then I'm glad I left when I did. And if people only want marriage for in-game rewards, that's even worse, because in my honest opinion, marriage (bonding, whatever..... everyone's going to call it marriage regardless) SHOULD BE AN RP ONLY FEATURE...

But I'm just one person /shrug

This x1000. The devs can set up a framework, like the appropriate vanity gear and a perfect location, but actually making it an official flag on the character data just leads to problems. It's best to leave it entirely in player hands.

i wonder if anyone will get banned for disagreeing with the OP? you know it's offensive to disagree with people that has different views on morals then you...i found that out the hard way >_>

If this is a serious suggestion then I don't agree. First of all it's a fantasy video game so marrying on it isn't suppose to be super serious beans. There may be in game perks for marrying which I don't think should be withheld from someone just because they aren't eighteen or older. When it comes to RP, some people RP their characters at different ages than they're in real life. I don't RP here but I'm an avid forum RPer so I can sympathize with them. Also there's really no way for SE to 100% confirm your real age anyway.

Whenever I read this forum I hate myself more often than not when I'm finished. I don't know why I do this to myself.
