Maybe just drop the above subject because it derails the thread again?
Since bunny bois would be weird, I vote we make the male bunny fat. Would add a body type we do not have. One can still be nimble and athletic as a fat man, Bob from street fighter has shown me this.
Ahh, the good ol sexism swing. Normally comes around the time people bring up the gender split between the new races, common result of comparing the body shapes of Hrothgar and Viera.
Not really fair to Zeylos. Sure, with the AMOUNT of post they dump on this topic they have a lot of sway in how convos go if not ignored (and I'd say they're are 100% one of the people I feel have an unhealthy amount of investment in this). But that's the thing, "if not ignored".
And no one here can play blind to the fact this thread cycles through the same arguments. I'm sure Zeylos didn't kick off the latest "Boo-hoo! WHY Hrothgar? Why add in a ugly race like Roe that's not gonna be uber popular that I don't want or find attractive? I don't see the value in adding in the first and only beastly looking player race in this fantasy setting when we could have had a full race of bunny people who all look like stiff af carbon copies of each other!" which normally directly prompts the "Sexist!" or sometimes "homophobic!" talk as people bring up the YoshiP line about bunny dudes and throw away all context about the current situation.
I'm sure this thread will cycle back to this before too long with or without Zeylos.
Like I've said, if people think that what they want adds anything of value to the game then IDK why Hrothgar being the what ... 5th least popular race-n-gender combo (?) keeps being cycled into the convo of this thread. It's off topic and prompts more off topic talk.
But w/e, I'll eat my popcorn as always.
I'm quoting the above comment, made a few days ago, to note that this isn't an isolated incident. Some posters will come into this thread with a specific stance one day only to shift to a completely different position the next. All it accomplishes is to muddy the waters - and it's a good thing that the moderators are tolerant enough to not close the thread altogether even when things do get heated.
*puts on tinfoil hat* it's a deception tactic to keep the thread from sinking by sparking controversy! Either way, it's kind of a guilty pleasure to read.
