Feedback Regarding the Relic Upgrade Quest

Agree with everything in OP. Good news is, it's not that much of an upgrade - certainly not worth the time it takes to get. You're safe just waiting for them to add a bit of sanity to the process with the next patch.

All I do when I get on is BrayFlox HM/Beatmen Dailies/Ventures Don't even care to do T6/Levi EX until I get this damn Animus done.

The Atma isn't even an upgrade, It just opens the next quest so you can start the real upgrade. 2.25 which will maybe be in 4 weeks or so will have a new part of the relic quest so expect relic to be ilvl105 or ilvl110. And then there will be more Relic upgrade quest in future patches.

At some point in the future Relic Will or at least should be the best weapons in the game.

Okay, so are you saying that a very good and skilled player doesn't deserve a power-up of his/her weapon just because he/she is especially unlucky whereas someone else much less skilled can obtain the same power-up in no time?
The reward is not based on your competence/knowledge/ability, but just on your... "luck"?
Is that so?

I can't see how this could help the server to improve as a whole.

people crave for relic just like u crave for EX or me craving for full set from both. However if we are to base from your "not everyone should be rewarded" theory.. maybe they should just put COB raid with a 1% chance of drop of any loot at all? or Levi EX to only drop weapon at 1% rate?

again my key point, and alot of others here, is that we need the reward to be on par with the effort required.. and atma drop is not. i just got 11/12 on my third set.. getting 4 atma in a row from 4 fate in the same zone after 11 hours of no drop.. tell me whats the point of such rng?

I think I didn't say anywhere that its fair or anything, did I ? yes it won't be for a lot of people, but its the same situation for some of the most talented raiders out there. At least Levi EX you got your chance no matter what if you keep goin, because well, no lockout whatsoever, compared to Twintania its just a matter of time, instead of pure luck coupled on a weekly lockout.

You know on my previous mmo, Age of Conan, I've waited like 4 years to see a weapon that just never dropped for me, I'm kinda used to that :P

Doesn't this seem like its a problem then? If the reward isn't worth the amount of effort that goes into it, doesn't that justify another look at the system?

The books are fine just waiting for FATE to pop is bad.

Hey, Square, remember when we said FATEs were stupid because sometimes we have to wait HOURS for them to appear? ("clear FATEs around" is not an excuse, i've been waiting 4 HOURS while clearing near FATEs and nothing:"What a boar" appeared like 15 times, "Everything's Better" once). They're still no fun. If grinding 346523 FATEs are not fun even if you're doing "things", what in the seven hells makes you think waiting for hours for a FATE to pop is fun? waiting 4 hours for a "1 minute" fate? oh, wait, you got a silver medal? no biggie, WAIT 4 MORE HOURS AND TRY AGAIN

That's insane, stupid and ridiculous. We had enough FATEs with the 12 Atma grind, THANK YOU. No need to do more silly FATEs for the books... or at least makes them appear with the same frecuency than Beast Tribe ones...
