Petition for Vanity Slots to be released in 2.1 Patch!

I completely agree they need to and some kind of vanity option.

The vanity system is ready, I really hope they release it in 2.1

Personally I'm getting sick enough with the potato sacks on my scholar that it may be enough to get me to stop subscribing until whichever patch brings in vanity slots. Personalizing your character is a realllly big deal to me in MMOs, and right now there is almost zero, both visually and build-wise.

So, the sooner the vanity system goes in, the sooner their cash flow increases and I don't think I'm alone with the sentiment

Makes no sense why they don't put it in if it's ready. Probably a marketing ploy to hype it up. Add my sig to having it for 2.1

Agree 100% vanity slots are needed, maybe for a game with plenty of options at 50 but its getting to the point where everyone is starting to look identical.

Also want to wear my Brayflox battlemages gear all the time..... especially considering the number of runs it took to get it all..

*Takes out quill and ink* Where do I sign? If all the Darklight/AF clone parties I've seen porting out of the cities are any indication, it is sorely needed (also, no restrictions. No, not even class/job restrictions [mages cannot wear Lvl5 shirts with no visible armor, yet tanks can wear subligars and mage robes, even in vanity? One of these classes are supposed to be hit, and it is the one running around in a bra and thong while the one in baggy robes are hiding the back]. Leveling said job it is restricted to wear for stats might work, because I cannot see why, if I level both Bard and Scholar to 50, that I cannot wear Bard's AF+1 shirt on my Scholar, or use the AF gear from Monks on any mage, because they are essentially made of the same stuff as mage robes).

If SE really means what they say when they will take into consideration what their customers want...well, now is the time to prove that ^^ I think this thread has more then enough people who want vanity in 2.1.

Count me in too! The more you can customise your character, the more attached you become, the longer you stay in the game, the more money SE earns! You know it makes sense :)

Right? Honestly, it might not be a big thing to some people but I'm sure vanity slots will make FFXIV a more enjoyable experience. Especially for those that hunt gears in lower dungeons and such. Spend money on dyes for a certain color set or crafted gears, etc.

/Signing this because I want to tank stuff on that killer PvP Bear suit. So awesome MY GOD. It would be a crying shame to keep beautiful sets like those and others collecting dust while we wear black tin cans (*cough*Darklight-tank-gear*cough*) because it's the best we got before Coil/Myth.
