<404> Guild Not Found | Chill, Social, Kinda Silly

Aaaaand the Festival of Frost is over. What a freakin night. That was intense. Thank you all for attending and hopefully you had as good of a time as we did!

Looks like next up on the list is our IRL meetup at PAX East. I do wonder if anyone else from Behemoth is going.

I may have asked this before in the past, i am unsure, but do you guys have any raid groups that are on T11 and looking to progress or are in need of an excellent scholar?

We have a casual rotation that does coil weekly... That being said, we're just working on learning T9 so we're not into FCOB at all yet. Thanks for checking in though! =D

That being said we're always still open and taking new applications. Our review process for them is reasonably strict, but I definitely recommend looking over the site and really getting a feel for who we are as an FC. We're mostly casual and enjoy having a good time with our community above all else. If you want a relaxing place to hang out and play FFXIV with some friends, maybe give us a look.

OMG PAX is beyond my expectations! And the best part?! Several of us ran into Yoshi P and got a bunch of things signed!!

We all made it back home but some of us did get the PAX POX =(

We all had a blast and it was so much fun to meet everyone in person.

As noted above, we're still happy to accept applications from any and all and we're quite picking in our process. Good luck to anyone that may apply!

We've had several new members join us in the last 2 weeks and so far, they've fit in quite well. We're always happy to welcome new blood into our fold. Also, keep in mind that FF14 isn't the only thing that we're involved in so if you're looking to branch out in some other aspects, please do not hesitate to apply!

The flutter of activity with everyone trying to get stuff done before the expansion is quite entertaining. I'm sure we'll see many folks coming back in the days leading up to it. That being said though, I don't think activity ever really dipped for us. Benefits of playing lots of stuff together I suppose!

So hyped for HW!

This announcement for being able to gift through Mog Station gives us new and wonderful ideas for future events!

Still pretty new to 404 myself, but if you do apply to 404, I would suggest not only mentioning what you want from a fc, but what positives and benefits you can bring to the free company, as well.

We're far from a raid type of FC but we're finally managing to make it into phase 4 of T9 consistantly with Heavensfall. Sure sure, some of you may think "That's old content, noobs" but for us, it means a lot that we're able do this on our own. Many thanks to Mizzteq for her awesome guides! Watching and doing are 2, very different animals =)

I used to enjoy old content in WoW and FFXI. What's old to some, is new to others, and figure as long as you're enjoying the content, doesn't matter how old it might be. =) So glad that 404 is progressing further on coil. Congrats!

I completed an application on the website. In-game name is Evorus Soulseeker. I am not sure but I might have clicked the submit button twice when completing the application.

Just curious how you can claim not to be exclusionary but then turn around and say 70% of applicants don't get in. That sounds like the definition of exclusion.

That's a really simple one actually! We're very selective about who we allow into the guild based on their personality. We don't exclude people based off skill or any predetermined things like that. Once you're in though, we also do not exclude people from runs because they're new, not geared as well, or don't have much experience with a fight.

In your case, we don't find dead babies and racial humor funny, which are two things you indicated that you were a fan of in your application. You wouldn't have fit in well with the rest of our community. We could have let you in, then found out that you wouldn't fit well at all and removed you from the guild then, but we figure denying an application is a much easier way of handling it.

thanks for replying, im fine with your decision, its your guild, do as you wish. On a side note, we just added the babies/racial statement to see if you guys were truly adults who could handle off color humor as you said, but its seems not. Try not to be so offended by words, those who are, appear very small minded.

Coming off the member's meeting last night I feel AWESOME. We're pumped for Heavensward and we've got a lot going on leading up to it. Get hype =D

A week until Heavensward Eve... I'm pretty much too hyped to think about it. We're doing a little guild 2.0 closing party on Sunday though. Should be a blast =D

Hype levels have pretty much built up to an all time high after the patch notes last night. Can't wait to get into the new zones =D
