More GLAMOUR PLATES, please!

more plates isnt enough.

we need a LOT more plates!


glam and visuals is one of the games most important aspects, time to polish that aspect

And back to the top. We need more at least one for each class/job if not more.

We need more GLAMOUR PLATES SE
We have in total 33 differnt classes in the game and only 20 glamour plates pleasseee!!! @YOSHI P!!!!

33 classes + 3 additional for special occassions... 36 plates would be the absolut minimum!

but to be honest for a game of this scale with all these glams and also having such a focus on visuals twice as many plates would be needed to have a proper standard.



edit: like 5 plates as basic for stuff like casual street wear, beach wear, halloween costumes or just any kind of dress code you want for your rp / community events.

and then an additional two plates for EVERY class / job. that also means that any future job comes with two additional glam plates.
one glam for each job is obvious. but a second plate to experiment with or just to have variety (without having to give up glams you like) would be the satisfying standard to have. everything else is weak.

It would be nice to have a few extras beyond the total Jobs/classes. Sometimes you make a nice outfit you want to save for later, like for holidays.

Please add more Glamour Plates, at least one for each job/class.

where be the glamour plates???

We got 5 more plates in patch 6.1 , there was a comment in a live letter about them looking at something glamour count related after the housing item count increase, I cant remember whether it was just more items or more plates.

they said they would take a look at it. my earliest hope would be 8.0.

God, that's awful. A whole expansion without a glamour plate update.
I wish they'd just revamp the whole thing if they can't even give us a decent 5 or 10 slots increase.

Honestly I’m hoping a huge glam update (plates and maybe some kind of catalog!) is coming for 8.0… probably not, but I can dream! lol

They said it's coming after the housing update so yep... 8.0.

Same. Honestly, I wish they'd just tie some sort of plates to gear sets. That'll solve the number issue.

if they make it part of a big glam package including stuff like character creation i can see it in 8.0. and that would be awesome!

but im not sure if they do 'smaller' things with expansion releases (dont remember all the patch details xD)... i really hope we dont have to wait for 8.1... or 8.2 since they split the housing thing into two parts because they are afraid of server overload. who knows in what order they want to release it in.

Ideally they should have one plate associated with each job gear set you have and then the 20 we have as flex spots. Have the glamour change to what I have associated with that gear set.

I wonder how the current glamour plate system is hooked up into the game if it takes this long to add any slots to it.

It was introduced in 2018 with 10 plates, and 2022 it got an additional 10plates.

Man the spaghetti code must be some literal nonsense if you can't do a simple +20 addition to the list.

Why does everything take a damn half a decade to happen. Hire more people or something.

With the Armoire updates they mentioned, it really is looking like they’re moving towards the Armoire becoming a catalog. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to hear that 8.0 is going to have a big glamour overhaul!

As more stuff moves to the Armoire, the Dresser can be more plate focused, hopefully with a LOT more plates.

They need to fix the restriction of glamour plates only being able to be applied in sanctuaries. It's BS since our glam disappears if we try to apply them anywhere other than a city.

Without reading 44 pages of this thread, I agree with everything said. Except the inevitable posts that defend SE regarding the current state of glamours.

Please give us more glamour plates!

I have a theory that one of the big announcements planned for Fan Fest is going to center around glam/glam plates (like how Duel Dyes was a huge announcement for DT Fan Fest). Especially considering the updates planned for the Armoire in the .5 patch.
