This is a public forum, I can post where I want, when I want - as long as it is within the bounds of the ToS. It is okay to have different opinions. I was already threatened once for having them, "gas lighting" am I right? This thread has been cleaned, and mine are still up. What does your post right now offer to the "discussion"? That's a good idea actually. Have the mogstation team make the butt slider feature as well. It'll cost a lot to unlock it, but it will be there for the discerning buyer! Fantasia not included.

Currently it is. But I don't know if I would go that far. Male viera supporters, and the male viera thread is just in hibernation. This 2b bottom flattening thing (#flattening) will just blow over after Yoshida gives (has he given it yet?) his statement. And the discussion will move back over to the occasional butt slider thread, "remember the #flattening". All male viera supporters are waiting for is an announcement, then the sleeping bear will awake.

Exactly. I think I was threatened (twice), saying I was "gas lighting", "breaking the tos" when I dared to say this 2b bottom thing was probably a "fix" and they disagreed, that the majority of the thread disagreed.

In essence, disagreeing with the majority opinion in a thread is against the ToS, apparently.

The fact that we were given enhanced booty means that it was meant to be seen, and players had license to enjoy it anyway they wished to. Then that was taken away and now they're upset. It's simple as that.

It looks like it will be getting reverted in 5.18. Then, they will start looking at chestpieces one a time to sort out any major clipping issues. Good job on making our concerns heard, everyone.

5.18 should drop on 12/24/19 unless there are any unexpected bugs.

Ironically, in the beginning I was for it getting reverted. Like I even said, "players should have the choice" in one of my first posts in this thread. Then the reaction just became rabid, because I had different takes. I won't lie though I thought it was funny that the only piece of gear I had ever used it on was completely unaffected.

Looks like it wasn't an issue with SE's "ethics department" after all, the devs weren't against the butt. :rolleyes:

Oh wow, nice! I honestly wasn't expecting it to be reverted, and thought we'd just have to deal with what we have now. Pleasantly surprised by Squeenix :)

This I see just a classic case of fix what isn't broken. I can't say that I've ever seen a clipping problem considering how we as players work around what we are given. Had we started with a butt slider from the gate this might not have been a topic. We can go from small to large flotation devices so why was the same attention not given to butts. They want players to create characters but restrict certain looks when there are millions of players that have those same features. My point is if you can allow breast in a tasteful manner then allow butts the same advantage. Just saying������ #freethebooty

I was clear that it was something punctual. They were not going to make that gesture with someone like Yoko Taro.

The funny thing about it has been to see the drama they have staged for something as frivolous and trivial as the size of a butt.

But well, I guess it's still better to focus on that and not on the disastrous PvP system that this game has, the lack of a new healer or how they have destroyed the crafting system.

To each their own tho.

Glad to hear their explanation on it and that it's gonna go back to normal soon as they figure out which gear it's an actual problem for.

Hope the new system they put in place is used for other bottoms using this base model.. remember someone translating that they did make this gear as a compromise for the game lacking a butt slider and I would like to have a shorts, skirt or pants version of this enhancement at some point.
