Until SE makes male and female glamours equal...

Tonight is the Sharlayan Pankratiast's set (I hope I'm spelling that close to right XD) from Gubal Library normal mode. The sets are pretty ordinary trench coats...that just happen to come with matching skirts! It's a little disappointing that the skirts match the main color of the coat rather than the plaid tie, but still a nice set.

I think the main thing I'd want to not to be genderlocked are the swimsuit bottoms.

That way, girls can have swim shorts/trunks while guys can have more speedo variety.

I certainly wouldn't say no to this. If I remember right, the only dyeable 'speedo' style model is the Coeurl Beach Briefs, which has a pattern that clashes with a lot of things and dyes very badly. I'm sure a lot of people would welcome a little more variety.

Iiiit's finals week, so I may miss posting a night or two out of shear exhaustion, but I'll try to keep up. Here's the White Griffin (PvP) set with the Behemoth mask tonight. I never bought the matching hood for this set because I don't like head pieces that cover the whole face D=. I'm happy to have an excuse to use this mask, since it's another piece I adore the looks of but sadly get limited use from because it's not dyeable:

As a female I would love this idea! There are so many outfits I'd like to wear but don't because of the female no pants thing. Riding a cloud mallow mount without flashing myself would be awesome.

Tonight isn't the girliest outfit, but I really love the void ark stuff. This is the monk set (Coat/gloves/mask, I don't have the other pieces) with the Flame Elite's Skirt; it might just be my personal tastes, but the laces up the back are really kinda sexy.

Thank you! SE knew what they were doing with the PvP sets, they're all really awesome looking and...at least in my case more than sufficient motivation to turn me into a bit of a PvP fiend when I had originally sworn never to even try in this game. You should definitely check the White Griffin set out if you like it; it's not my favorite set on Miqo'te, but I've seen it on FemRoes before and I think it flatters their proportions very nicely.

Keep the faith, they promised we'd get them and I'm not ready to believe Yoshi would lie to us just yet. It would be nice to see them added in time for the Gold Saucer event (supposedly?)later this month, but realistically they're super busy creating dozens of lovely new sets for Stormblood, so we'll probably have to wait another couple of patches yet.

Tonight is the Vanya Robe of Healing, which looks like it would be super comfortable to lounge around in on your day off from saving the world. This was actually the very first thing I bought when I hit fifty, and it broke my heart a little when I got a better chest piece drop and had to change, since there was no glamour system yet.

Also the thing about the Makai sets - they are gender specific. So both males and females got something that suits them SPLENDIDLY. I hope they do that for more sets in the future.

This all isn't necessarily about a couple of items we don't have, rather how we could get something that flatters our figure too!

I mean, I am a little sad that the Makai sets are so different between male and female models (especially since some classes get the exact same set and some don't), honestly, but I'm not going to complain about it too much since the division is more or less fair? I'm never going to be happy about drastic differences between models because it means people aren't given the choice, but at least this time they gave guys a nice, unique model instead of a lazy generic piece or a reskin of another item while the ladies get something actual work was put into.

I want those shorts and the head pieces so bad, though.

I don't wear feminine glamours myself but I support glamour equality! I made this glamour when this skirt first came out. (These are old shots.)

Here's the Astral Silk robe, which is an all-classes version of the Arachne Silk Healing robe, paired with the Yafaemi tank bottoms to get more or less the same effect as the female version of the set.

Star Velvet Himation and long gloves of healing, dyed dark and pastel green to match my beautiful Garuda staff. XD By now anyone who's been following this thread can probably guess what my favorite color is, huh? I really love all the little details and bits of jewelry on this set; it's got a very classic Amano feel to it. It also reminds me a lot of the art for the Heroic Legend of Arslan series (the older art, before Hiromu Arakawa got her otherwise solid but sadly very 'plain' style all over the series).

Thank you! I actually took an embarrassing number of pictures in that pose or very close to it, from varying angles, and I almost couldn't choose one to post because I liked them all! It's from either the /bstance or /vpose for WHM, I forget now.

I'm noticing as I play with the options in /gpose, depending on the angle of the shot, a lot of poses and expressions can have a very different effect. It makes it interesting when I'm going through the shots trying to pick the best one and one shot looks cute and the next one looks almost sinister.

Tonight is the Yafaemi Monk set with the Sharlayan Pankratiast's Longkilt from Gubal normal, which matches the main color of the top almost perfectly, and meshes really well with the shape.

Here's the Gloam tabard and boots for monk. I love all the little cutouts here and there to expose the character's skin, especially on the boots. This was a piece I was very excited for when I first saw it, because the tails and the overall shape are just very pretty and graceful.
